I'll check with my local T-Mobile store. I'll ask if I need to use a new nano SIM card to take advantage of the 5G towers.
It shouldn’t. I’ve ordered an 11 pro max through tmobile and the driver just left it at the door even though I was home. The same with my se2.
Anyone having issues when pairing an Apple Watch?
You need to activate the new sim to your line manually or you won’t be connected to the network. Why change the sim. I would have the sim in my new iPhone already.

I finally got mine to pair, it took well over an hour to go through the “setting up your Apple ID” screen. I’m on ios14 developer beta, and watch dev beta, so I’m attributing the delays to that.I am having issues.
It’s so beautiful!!
Same here. I pre-ordered on the 16th at around 8:40 with the EIP signed at 8:46 for the silver 256gb pro (thinking it would be the least popular model) and i have no movement on my account yet. My ship dates still show 10/24-11/2.I guess the fun continues for me...

Same. I was looking at the apple store and I could've picked up my phone today but didn't want to miss out on t-mobile's promotions. I kept following up with the reps on twitter and they kept saying everything looks good and it should ship soon. Very vague.Pretty much same timing here the EIP was signed well before 9:00am and I got a 11/10-11/16 BACKORDERED ship date (Pacific Blue 256 Pro). I gave them a ring a few days ago “Not to worry sir, it looks like we will ship your order on 10/22.”
I am guessing the initial allotment combined with the demand overwhelmed supply. However I could of walked into Best Buy yesterday and got any color or size I wanted - but no T-Mobile. Apple store by me had a 512 Pro Blue in stock - but I would of gotten a lot less trade in credit for my X compared to what T-Mobile is giving me and I dont need that much storage.
If you trade in at the Apple Store, you’ll only be out $15. Apple will give you $250 and Tmobile will give you a $150 rebate. Unless you’ve been a tmo customer for over 5 years, the Apple Store/Tmobile rebate is a solid trade in value of $400.Pretty much same timing here the EIP was signed well before 9:00am and I got a 11/10-11/16 BACKORDERED ship date (Pacific Blue 256 Pro). Don't you need to trade in to get the $200 loyalty rebate? There is no way I would be able to sell the XS MAx for $700 after fees.[automerge]1603433234[/automerge]
Don't trade it in. Sell it
Oh, yeah. That’s definitely worth waiting for. I upgraded from the X and got my 12 Pro yesterday and it’s a solid upgrade. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It’s larger and weighs more, but it doesn’t feel heavier at all. The weight distribution is excellent.Hey thanks for the heads up...not sure how I snagged this but T-Mobile is giving me $680 for my X on a new line (statement credit over 24 months which I am ok with). So I dont feel horrible about waiting another few weeks with that deal.
Normally you get the trade in value instantly in the store. Let's say the trade in value for the XS is $300 you will receive it instantly. The remaining $200 is received as bill credits. So the store in person will get you a monthly credit for your trade in for 30 months too ??
You need to ship it, assuming you mean the T-Mobile store and not the Apple Store. Can you trade in the phone at the store if you did an online order? Do I need to ship it?

If you are on the watchOS beta, backups do not work. You have to setup as new. It’s been in the release notes that backups are not working. I was able to set up as new and still everything came over without issues. Only other problem I ran into is that apps had to be installed from watch App Store, they would not install from phone directly like they are suppose to... No big issue tho, just some extra time...I am having issues.
