Does anyone here have a 256GB 12Pro Pac Blue that delivered on Friday? I know that a few others have mentioned the same window (this week) as mine with pre-orders in the first few minutes. No movement whatsoever on mine yet. As long as I get it this week, I'm happy. I'm just starting to wonder if there's a bigger supply constraint/backorder than T-Mobile is telling us about on that model.

Soooo. I decided to cancel my 12 Pro order and try my luck with the Max on the 6th. I wasn’t set to get my Pro until 11/12, so hopefully I get my order in on 11/6 early enough to get delivery around the same time. TMO was very helpful via text as far as canceling my 12P order. :)
I thought about doing this too. I went back and forth between the Pro and Pro Max, and the benefits of the Pro Max, for me, don't outweigh the cost difference. Plus, I've had larger phones (Samsung Note series), and they've become too large for me. I've been playing with my wife's XR lately and it is a perfect size for me. I really hope you enjoy your Max though. Keep us updated.

In a new support document spotted by MacRumors, Apple has quietly warned users that there are some significant downsides to its innovative new MagSafe wireless charging system, that extend beyond concerns about its weak magnets.

In a series of bullet points at the end of the document, Apple warns buyers of iPhone 12 series phones that MagSafe can:
  • Increase heat build up and restrict charging, saying if your iPhone battery gets “too warm” charging will be limited to 80% capacity.
  • Damage the magnetic strips and RFID chips in credit cards, security badges, passports and key fobs if they come between the back of your iPhone and the MagSafe charger. Apple sells a MagSafe Wallet, so be very careful.
  • Damage leather cases used with the charger by leaving “circular imprints”. Similar damage to silicon cases has also been reported after just a few days, so questions must also be asked about what this will do to the glass backs of case-less iPhone 12 models over time.

My order status confirms it was placed at 8:14am on 10/16. I posted a few days ago about this but now it’s BACKORDERED with an estimate to ship 11/10-11/16. I was told numerous times it was set to ship 10/22 not to worry that the back order was just two systems not synced up yet.

I ordered the same model btw and size and color - I spoke to t-mobile on FB messenger and they told me that everything is Backordered and went right into “Shall we cancel your order?” - I’m like WHOA WHOA WHOA..slow down. Not happy with the lack of updates and pushing back the dates.

I'm also tempted to do this. The bigger battery and camera is appealing. Just not sure I can handle phone that large

same here. I am also waiting for my 12 Pro Blue Pacific 256GB to ship. And my emails/confirmations are all the same.
I got tired of waiting for my delivery after the futile pre-order that went south.

Week later on launch day when my phone didn't show, I went online to the Apple store to order the same phone - just picked her up yesterday.

When my online order comes in, I am going to return it and leave Apple a nasty feedback that they should not stock the stores if you have a customer who pays in advance for a week and is waiting for it....

I don’t understand last week when I checked on my iPhone 11 Pro on T-mobile LTE I got 154 down and 50 up. I don’t have the iPhone 12 yet waiting for the mini but I don’t get it 5G should be at least 300 down. Hopefully when I get my mini it will be faster than LTE or I will just turn it off to save battery life.

I get 5mbs at my house haha so always on Wifi so not a huge problem but man you get what I get on 5g with LTE !!!

In a van down by the river
Originally the phones were suspected at "12 and 12 plus and 12 pro and 12 pro plus

Once its created the site doesnt let me modify or take it down. so yah...
What does the R15 SIM look like that you ordered? Can you take a pic, please? I ordered one and received a SIM today but I don’t know if it is a regular SIM or the R15. I got it for the new iPhone mini I will be ordering.

Edited to add: I see it now. I missed the small r15 writing on the back of the chip the first time I looked.

Yeah I know what you’re saying. My mom has my old 8 Plus and I just feel like a change this cycle. :)

I'm also waiting on a 256gb 12 Pro Pac Blue. I finalized my order at 5:08am PST on pre-order launch day on the t-mobile website. Starting to get impatient as there is no information or movement for me yet.

Same exact model, same exact timestamp on my order, same exact lack of any updates since my initial order was placed.

Looks like @treyjustice, @jdd0815, @CKirkthejerk1 and I are all in the same boat. Orders within the first 10-15 minutes or so, originally showed a 10/23 date at checkout, updated to 10/24-11/2 in our confirmations/order status, no movement on credit cards, EIP, UPS or Order Status yet, all the same configuration device.

I'm waiting for the 12 64gb in black (regular 12...) ordered 2, one delivered, the other one is still "pre-order" and supposed to "ship by 10/23". Ordered these around 4:50am... just a few mins apart. BUT both phones been charged last thursday.

Contacted the reps on Twitter... and like your status... no information or movement for me either... they said there's delay in shipments and my order is already packaged and ready for shipping... but i think it's all lies... they said this multiple time that I had contact them the past couple days since Friday... that I been messaging them.

Typically if you've been charged it means a specific phone has been allocated for you. Is there an IMEI on your EIP summary online?

My concern is that I haven't been charged and there is no sign of any movement. This is typical of you are on backorder. So, looks like my configuration is backordered, and hopefully their estimate is correct.
