I knew that would happen when ATT & VZW showed how pitiful their 5G coverage was - T Mobile was poised to take over.

And to boot, TMO does not charge extra for 5G access - unlike ATT & VZW who makes you upgrade your monthly plans.....

I’m not paying extra for 5G on Verizon and don’t have to change plans. My current plan already had 5G. I have to admit, T-Mobile’s coverage map for 5G may be bigger than Verizon and AT&T, but I’m sure it won’t be like that forever. If T-Mobile would’ve stopped requesting a Downpayment of $450+ and had better coverage in my area, I definitely would’ve stayed.

I originally had an 11/3-11/9 shipping date when I pre ordered. I noticed that on Sunday night it changed to 10/25-10/27 and I got charged for the taxes. Just barely my status changed from "Pre order" to "Shipped". It will be here tomorrow!

For the curious, I got 128 GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue.
Same! My wife's 128GB Pacific Blue was charged last night and updated to ship 10/28-10/30. Nothing in Ups yet though. She will be pleased with the updated date :)

My shipping also got updated a few moments ago, from 10/24 - 11/2 to 10/28-10/30. Nothing on UPS yet. Two 512 Graphite Pros.

T-Mobile hasn't incorporated the Sprint network into there base plan yet. That will roll out sometime next year. That will be the AT&T and Verizon killer.

Verizon and AT&T have on multiple occasions teamed up to stop T-Mobile from obtained spectrum and filed bogus law suits in efforts to stop T-Mobile from expanding an an incredible rate.

In the second quarter of 2020, T-Mobile provided a service for a total of 98.327 million customers. The company saw a large increase in subscriber numbers from the first quarter of 2020 to the second, driven by the merger of T-Mobile and Sprint in April 2020. AT&T has 92 million customers, and Verizon has over 100 million.

AT&T and Verizon are each losing 200-500 thousand to T-Mobile every quarter the last 3 years with the un-carrier moves. Now the are adding TV service on November 1st for just 10 bucks and for the full Monty you can get better than Xfinity/Wave without using your data and home TV for just 60 bucks? WOW....

Guess I'm **** out of luck. My preorder payment didn't go through and they said the order went to the next customer. Now expected shipment 12/04-12/28. Extremely frustrating.

Any T-Mobile employees in the house know what's the lead time on store inventory of iPhones?

I intend on trading in my 1st generation iPhone SE towards a new iPhone 12 Mini due to T-Mobile's "surprisingly great" trade-in offer. The phone itself is in fine physical condition outside of the hairline scratches that develop over almost four years of daily usage. No cracks, no water damage, no deep scratches.

My main concern is it's battery. My iPhone started to alert me that a battery replacement was needed earlier in the year, but this was around the time that COVID-19 lockdowns started kicking off, and between my local Apple Store's closure and myself wanting to avoid social situations, that never happened. Besides, it was only a mere six months at that point until the new iPhones would be released, I figured if I could save that $50 and put it into a new iPhone instead that would be preferable.

Well, then delays happened. The usual September iPhone launch morphed into an November launch, and a "low" battery turned into a "painful to use" battery. The phone itself lasts only about an hour of normal usage, and the battery indicator is unreliable.

Because of this, I'm concerned about doing a mail-in trade-in. I worry that if my iPhone SE sits in a random bin somewhere for more than a few weeks in a powered off state that it'll somehow not power on again when the time comes for inspection, and the trade-in will be rejected. If I can trade it in at a store itself the store employee will be able to see the iPhone power on and function properly and can then give me the proper credit there and then.

Because of this, I'd like to forgo the online pre-order process and pre-order the iPhone in-store instead, or if this isn't possible, just purchase the iPhone on launch day instead.

I'm not sure what the demand is like for the iPhone 12 Mini, and I'm not sure what demand even was for the iPhone 12 in regards to store sell-outs but I'd like to try to secure one on launch day if possible. At what point will stores know their on-hand inventory for November 12th? I'd like to call ahead at my local stores and see what their inventory is so I can wait outside of the store for opening as necessary.

Yup second time Chase has declined payment from Tmobile order. No idea why. They did offer me a $50 credit... so that is something lol
