Hi! Thanks for sharing your experience! I think my order is similiar to your issues... But for mines... UPS has not scanned the package (I checked tracking, and it's still waiting to get pick up)... and the T-Mo reps kept saying that the package is ready for UPS to pick up for a couple days straight... which is strange... because I would've think that UPS would come by and pick up the packages from T-Mobile daily... or at least on the weekday...

With that being said, I hope it's still within T-Mobile warehouse, instead the UPS warehouse...
Checked my Order Status... still remain the same... ???

Anyone send in their trade in yet? I sent mine in a few days ago and today got a notification that it was forwarded to a different address...

Not sure what to think. It was originally going to Lewisville, TX but got redirected to Flower Mount, TX along with this text:

"Your item was forwarded to a different address at 1:20 pm on October 29, 2020 in FLOWER MOUND, TX. This was because of forwarding instructions or because the address or ZIP Code on the label was incorrect."

Hope everything goes to plan. Anyone else experience this?

Rather than mail the trade ins back can you take them to a Tmobile store?

I put mine in the mail last Friday night after getting everything set up on my new phone. Yesterday I got this note in the tracking:

"We attempted to deliver your package at 4:10pm on October 28, 2020 in LEWISVILLE, TX 75057 but could not access the delivery location. We will redeliver on the next business day."

And now there is no new update as of today.

EDIT: Literally 5 minutes after posting this I got this update: "Your item was delivered at 4:25 pm on October 29, 2020 in LEWISVILLE, TX 75057."

This could become a headache. Two years ago, UPS lost my iPhone X. So I called CS and they told me to me to pick up instead at my local T-Mobile store and turn in my old one there as well. That messed up the monthly credit for the trade-in since the mail-in processing facility did not receive the old phone and the store trade-in only provided the standard trade-in amount and not the promo amount. The promo, at that time, was for online orders only. It took several calls to CS over three billing cycles to finally straighten things out.

I’ll give it a few more days before I get too worried. I imagine the thing is insured so if it gets lost I’ll be Ok if I have the tracking number.

Mine still says 11/10-11/16. The same credit card is used for TMo billing, so it should work. They did charge +1 and the -1 cent when I placed the order on 10/17.

Should I call TMo and ask if they can send earlier?

I placed my order 30 min after preorders opened on 10/16 and got the same ship estimate. I spoke to them as well a T-Mobile rep in store - both said they weren’t expecting (same as apple) such a demand and are doing the best they can to fufill. They dont have the units to send earlier, we are wave 3 or even wave 4. Wave 2 is JUST starting to get some movement on their orders. So the earliest for us best case is 10/3-10/10

One thing I’ve been wondering is if we get any kind of confirmation that they have actually opened the package and accepted the phone? I did take pictures and video of my phone’s condition before sending, but it would be nice to get some confirmation that everything is in order. First time trading a phone this way so don’t really know what to expect.

One of my blue 12 pro got charged or credit card that I ordered on 10/19. The original shipping is 11/10-11/16. The other is still waiting to be charged.

Just got charged this morning for my 12 Pro Blue 256GB. Had original shipping date of 11/3-11/9. Not it’s 10/29-11/02. Unfortunately, I am out of town this weekend. What’s the likelihood it will be delivered over the weekend?

Update: just received a tracking number. It is being shipped via 2nd Day Air for delivery on Tuesday, when I will be home!

You should have a tracking number soon. If you aren't set up for UPS My Choice, you should sign up. It's a free service and lets you track packages being shipped via UPS.

Been crunching the numbers and came up with this:

Costco is the best bet right? I don't want to get stuck with 30 months worth of device credits again. (I did 36 months on my XS — which i'd have to pay off in order for any of the above scenarios to work). I want the discount/rebate now so I have more flexibility next year or the year after.

The APPLE scenario includes their $150 extra credit. But their phones cost more and their trade in value is less.

I still want to see the Mini in person before making any moves. I imagine once the Mini and Pro Max launch, they will extend the promo for all new 4 phones.
Am I missing anything (besides tax)?

Yup, I have UPS My Choice. Forgot to mention that I don’t see any updates on there yet. I will keep an eye out, but I do have someone house-sitting if anything!

Also ordered blue pro 128gb on 10/18 and still no charge. Ship dates 11/10- 11/16
Yeah! I purchased the same color. If we get something else then we probably got the phone already.

11/17. T-mobile don't have any answers. Costco have no inventory. Apple show mid November ship date. OMG! It killing the fun.
