I still havent got charge yet , am I safe for Friday deliver ??
13 ProMax , Gold 128

With jod pre orders does T-Mobile ever change the status to preparing to ship? Just curious or only shipped?

Great news!

According to the same T-Mobile Rep who said that said he has experience with 7 pre-orders, if you have been charged then you should receive your phone Friday.

He also said sometimes tracking has been generated without showing up in the system because of complications from so many orders.

See attached screen shot below.

WOW! I must be extremely lucky. My estimated ship date is 9/28-10/5. My CC was charged today and UPS Choice has my iPhone arriving Friday. Heck yeah!

So I spoke to T-Mobile and explained my situation that I’m leaving this Saturday out of the country for a month and I’d like the device Friday. Below is their response:

If tmrw you don't see tracking from tmo then I'd message them. It's no good hearing their response. You need the tracking # as proof of delivery friday.

I am pretty sure you'll get it friday but wish you luck.

Ordering a new expensive phone with only 1 possible day that you could have it delivered was awfully risky of you. It seems like you could be setting yourself up for a problem.

Even if it ships out tomorrow, then unless you paid for 1 night shipping or unless you live very close to the T,Mobile warehouse (some said 1 was in Indiana), then its not likely to be there Friday.

Adding a note on the shipping to be delivered only Friday does not help if T-Mobile only paid for ground shipping or 2 day shipping. Probably only 1 night shipping would get your device there in time. Thats assuming it shipped out tomorrow and you paid extra for 1 night shipping.

If you don't have a tracking number by 4pm tomorrow then I'd recommend calling t-mobile. If they still don't have the shipping number and it doesn't say Friday delivery then should consider canceling your order so it does not lay on your door step for a month.

Good luck!

T-Mobile does have the ability to add instructions to a shipment. Like requesting to have the package left at a back door or any other instructions. However if T-Mobile only paid UPS for Ground shipping or 2 day, then UPS will refuse to deliver a package within 1 day because they were not paid for 1 day shipping.

Preorders are automatically upgraded to 2 day or overnight with most carriers I paid for ground and expect my phone Friday. Weird T-Mobile makes you pay for shipping in the first place. Coming from Verizon this is completely opposite of how they do it for the most part

This!

I've done this for so many years that I don't even sweat it anymore. I ended up feeling stupid for hounding the reps so much... I wasn't getting charged & didn't get a notification from UPS My choice all week. I got the notification and charge on Thursday evening and still got the phone on launch day (Friday by 9am).

My thoughts... which align with most who've done this in the past. If you got charged with a 9/24-10/5 date, just go sleep. You will have your phone on launch day or Monday/Tuesday. Hounding the T-Mobile reps will not expedite shipping in any way. I think we assume they have that power and clearly they don't... They're just reps.

Current status: I ordered a 13 Pro Max in Graphite 128GB at noon this past Monday (yeah Monday) and got a 9/24 shipping date. I got charged this afternoon. I will probably get the phone earlier than someone who ordered on pre-order date within the first hour based on some of the dates some of you are posting. Which is enough to show that the pattern really doesn't make sense.

When I pre-ordered the LG V30 from T-Mobile many years ago it was 1 night shipping for free.

When I pre-ordered the S10+ from T-Mobile a couple years ago, it was 2 night shipping for free.

This year its ground shipping according to their website. It was $15 to upgrade to 2 day express, and $25 to upgrade to 1 night.

This is just an example of companies make cuts to costs to increase their profit. However since I get my data plan so much cheaper than Verizon, then I am okay with that in the long run.

I did not order my iPhone from T-Mo -- but I did order an Apple silicone case from them. With all the bill credits I'm getting, figured why not? I live in Central OH and the warehouse is in Louisville, surely UPS Ground will deliver in time.

They sent the case via UPS.... Mail Innovations.

It arrived in the suburbs of Columbus yesterday (Tuesday, 21 Sep). It is being handed over to USPS, who's mail facility is exactly 10 miles away. I live just shy of 15 miles from USPS.

Delivery is Monday. *facepalm*

You don’t understand my situation.

I got the phone last Friday without plans to travel. Sunday I got a call that there’s a family member who is about to die in the next few weeks. This was not a planned trip. I would’ve gotten the phone from apple and pickup Friday if I knew this would happen.
