Carrier T-Mobile iPhone X/8 Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Wow. I bought an iPhone x for my girlfriend but her account is on T-Mobile. Long story short, I couldn’t get her one at midnight because her account wasn’t the primary one and her parents were already sleeping of course. I was able to get her one by phone at 11am PST on Friday, impersonating her dad :D with their permission of course. I was given a date of 11/10 - 11/17 over the phone and through the order status page. I was okay with it cause I knew I ordered late but today I got a charge on my bank account from T-Mobile! However, the status page hasn’t changed yet. How is this possible? I would be super stoked if she’s gets it the same day I get mine from Verizon. But could this be an error from T-Mobile?

That’s not true. You have up to 5 days before they cancel the order. They have tried to charge me twice and they have put my order on hold until I’m paid tomorrow.

Which model did you pick? Let me guess: silver 64 GB?
 
Does anyone know if you can buy the phone outright from TMob and still get $300 trade-in offer applied to the account? Or, does it need to be on EIP to qualify for the $300 trade-in offer? TIA

Updated my cc right away soon as I got the text from T-Mobile still they haven't charge me yet

If you choose to pick up from the UPS store, UPS has to deliver it to the store on the 3rd so it'll take extra time. You can try going to the store on the 3rd right before closing and hope that it's there for pickup.

If you pick it up from the UPS customer center it should be available for pickup from 8:30AM or when ever it opens on the 3rd as they don't have to load it on the delivery truck.

Sweet, thanks! I reroute to the hub in Laurel, MD. This gave me the delivery date of Nov. 3rd instead of 6th. Not that far from where I am so it's going to be nice being able to pick up the phone early in the morning.

Same here, the info on my preorder still shows my old credit card number. Called and chatted with a customer service associate and they both confirmed the order is still processing and looks good on their end. Still no charge yet or any changes to my status of Running.

$300 trade in offer is only valid if you do a new EIP agreement. You would have to finance the phone through T Mobile with EIP.

Thanks, that's what I thought, but the CSR I just spoke to was adamant that I could get the $300 credit even if I bought the phone outright. She also said that she had done this multiple times for other orders. Every time I call TMob I get a different answer to the same query. Very frustrating!
 
A bit late to post, but got this notification on UPS's site yesterday around 8pm. Was charged earlier in the day around 8am. Funny thing is I thought you had to pay to get a estimated delivery arrival through My Choice, but seems to be displaying it on my computer :D

Anytime! Yeah that's T Mobile for you. ha. You'll get a lot of different answers with different reps. Here is snap of the terms and conditions of the offer as well, it's on their website.

Same boat was told that the cards won’t be charged into they ship the items I’m guessing she meant when they ship from overseas to tmo hub, then if pay,net doesn’t go tru you’re order will be canceled
 
card was declined yesterday due to fraudulent (which my bank has called me twice right after) however changed it to my credit card yesterday and saw the charge this morning. i’m assuming if you didn’t get charged yet, then it’ll be tomorrow.
 
got a charge today. I have a 11/10-11/17 date but my place in line was supposedly saved from an 3 AM order I had to cancel because they couldn't locate it.

I hope a charge this early guarantees phone at launch

Yes you can when you order tell them that you have a trade in and you can pay for it out right. I was given the option for 24 months or pay for it out right

I had the same dates and got charged today as well. Space gray 64GB. What are you getting?
 
Sucks I won't know till T-Mobile's status page updates which in my case has always been like 2 days after said item has already been shipped.

I won't be charged because it was zero down, plus I can't use UPS My Choice because I decided to have it shipped to work.

Still says 11/3 to 11/10

Mine says the same,hoping we see movement next !
 
SG 256 GB here too, ordered a little past 10am EST on 10/27., still 11/3-10, still no charge on my CC. Seeing a pattern here.
