I'm sure this has already been said but I think it's worth repeating.

Nobody's going to know if they're getting their phones on release until Monday at the earliest. Basically there's three things you gotta look for:

1. Starting Monday/Tuesday, people start getting charged. If you get charged sometime next week from Monday through Thursday, you're probably getting your phone on release or on Saturday.

2. Check your EIP section on My T-Mobile, as soon as you see an iPhone X in there *with* an IMEI number that means T-Mobile have a phone in the US assigned to you that they're gonna ship out soon.

That was basically the only fool-proof way of knowing whether or not you were getting an iPhone. Also, the reps almost never know anything, they're fed generic and often misleading information by execs. in order to keep complaining customers happy. The only reliable source of information is the money -- T-Mobile can't charge you unless they're sure they have a phone for you.

I must be blind... where exactly is the EIP section?

Did any of you take the 300.00 trade in? I took the offer, but might sell it on Craigslist instead. The rep did tell me it wouldn’t change anything if I didn’t send it in to them. Certainly I can get more than that for an unlocked 7+

I honestly didn’t stay up until midnight to pre-order, it just worked out that way. After an hour of their site not working I called and somehow managed to get into the first grouping of shipments. My business partner called this morning and has the same shipping range that you do.

I took the $300 trade in with my 6+. I don’t mind trading that one in and keeping the Rose Gold 7+ I paid off.

For those interested; Last year, I remember learning a little bit more about the shipping process. From what I understand, devices are assigned IMEI's while still in China, after T-Mobile learns how much inventory they will have available. From there, they are shipped through Alaska, to Louisville KY, where there is either a main UPS hub or T-Mobile hub, I don't recall which, but from there, orders are distributed around the US.

Last year, I was able to track the early movements of my order when it was en route from China via the My Choice UPS app. It essentially tracks any packages in their system which are destined for your address. If T-Mobile's devices are assigned IMEI's in China, an address will be associated with that IMEI and so we theoretically should be able to track these packages this way again.

FYI, it seems that those of us who ordered T-Mobile phones thru the app or on apple.com early this morning and got 11/10-11/15 delivery dates are having our delivery dates bumped to 11/3

Happened to me and evidently others who checked.

The moral of the story? Next time call 611 at 11:58. I was on hold for 10min or so, many others were on hold for far shorter time or not at all. In a few minutes, order placed and receiving on launch day.

T-Mobile's site and app have always been a mess. I would never even think of trying to do a pre-order on their site. Unfortunately, you had to go through the pain to figure that out. I've been there and feel for you.

This is the 2nd time I called in for a preorder and wasn’t put on hold. Last year I upgraded online and had so many issues and didn’t receive my 7+ until 10/17. I don’t think I’ll be using online until they get it together. I also have a order through Apple with estimated dates of 11/17-11/24.

Meaningless honestly. They did this last year with the 7, shifted people's dates around and shifted them again once they received their first shipments.

Perhaps, but those of us who ordered within the first few minutes (12:03 in my case), should certainly be getting our phones on launch day, whether they be T-Mobile, Verizon or whatever.

One would hope this is the case. And hopefully production is better then expected which is why Apple is bumping dates from customers who bought from them rather then taking from supplies originally slated for carrier stores.

Which one did you get?
I went with Spigen for case (been with them 5yr straight now) and Yootech for wireless charging pad. I originally ordered a Spigen charging pad for $25 but i found the Yootechs for $9.99 each so i went with 2 of those. One for work the other for bedroom...

Dont all of these require the purchase of a wall plug? that is annoying.

I ordered a USB cord to hook it up to my work computer to charge on.

Yeah, that's a pretty sweet deal. I opted for this one because it appears that when 'fast charging' becomes a thing later this year, the one I got will support it.

I just did the most stupid thing, pre-order the iPhone X 64gb black at 2:28 am CT, signed the agreement, everything was good, delivery date for 11.2-11.3, couldn't sleep until 4:30am, woke up, had breakfast, until 2pm I notice that my address was wrong, 992 xxxxx instead of 922 xxxxx, I've never felt more impotent, call T-Mobile, told me they couldn't change the shipping address .

So, went to a local store, the only thing they could do was change the billing address, hopefully the payment will go thru, they couldn't tell for sure, and the only thing left to do is, if when the payment goes thru, get a tracking number, call UPS, hopefully with a window of opportunity and change the address before it ships.

They told to cancel the order and do it again but I would lose my turn, I said no thanks, I'll just have to wait and see if I will get it by launch day.

Do they have quick charge for wireless charging pad?
