That looks like a b-e-a-utiful day in St. Cloud. Not far from my hometown of Ft. Lauderdale.
10:28am Central time.. deeelivered in the great city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Settin' 'er up now.. can't wait!.
Was anyone else thinking that this would be a good weapon? I mean, you could whack someone upside the head pretty good. Not that I'm always thinking of these things, I was just observing. Maybe because the cat is really getting on my nerves this morning and I screwed up my strawberry mousseline for my friends b-day cake. Okay, never mind, enough babbling.. on to playing!!
does the iPad show up as a removable hard drive (like iPods do)? If not, are there any other non-WiFi opportunities of putting files on your iPad?

Yeah the wife is mainly an email person. She uses a few cooking apps and watches a few shows. She better make that 16gb work!
Son Playing KO Boxing on it. Non-Native App, but it works and looks great! Even with his small hands, no problem!

When they start delivering to the UK I'm going to sell signs saying 'UPS stop here please', like the kids have at Christmas. Glad to see I'm not the only 60 plus year old getting excited...and I'm 3000 miles away with a month to go! Enjoy my friend.

At what time (locally) does a package have to get to the local UPS facility in order for it to ship that day?
Torn looking for suggestions: I have one reserved, and could always dump it on ebay or return.
Tracking like all says it last tracked in Boston at 8am. then nothing... I just called ups said my tracking, and the recorded reply was "your package is on its way to you..."
I emailed UPS this week, and was told Sat delivery was not in my area, but I could swear I have seen UPS trucks on my street on Sat.
I am trying to wait, but don't want to miss the 3pm cutt-off.
Anyone know if on its way to you means on the truck being delivered???

Picked up my 64gb pre order this morning. Got in line at 8:45 and even with ~200 people in front of me, was out the door by 9:30.
First impressions:
Heavier then expected...not necessarily a bad thing, feels very substantial in your hands.
Keyboard is easier to type on with 2 hands then expected, I'm writing this whole thing at about 80% my normal speed.
Display is GORGEOUS!!! Everything is so crisp.
Some of the apps are just fantastic. I was playing around with ABCs viewer and US Today and it is a totally different and amazing experience that is very hard to describe.
Very responsive. Response times for scrolling, changing orientation, changing programs, etc are all super fast.
Sound is good and loud but at max volume the whole thing vibrates pretty hard in your hand, not sure if that will be a problem for holding it for long periods of time.
I bought the case and really like it, I immediately regretted not getting the dock however. May run to best buy and see if they have one.
Overall, for the first 45 minutes if playing with this, i am beyond thrilled. I really believe Steve knocked it out of the park with this.

Got mine at 9:03am at the Apple Store at Easton, in Columbus Ohio and have been playing with it since. Early impressions are as great as you can get.

Netflix is by far the coolest app so far! I have already watched some 24 and The Office... it is amazing the clarity and the sound.
