i will NEVER say anything nice about UPS. they've crushed over 10 packages that have been sent to my home. no joke. not everything inside those boxes was destroyed, but most of them were... a guitar, an LCD, a blu-ray player. UPS utterly and completely fails in Tempe AZ on a near 100% basis.

I live in the Hamburg area too. I'll be waiting a little longer to get one.
 
I just got my 32 gig from BB in Springfield, MO. No problems, plenty in stock, playing with it now.

Got mine at 10am in Manhattan. The device feels great to hold and the screen is sharper than I had anticipated. Syncing now...

Well... Macbooks don't come with headphones. I think that's a little closer to to the product category Apple is going for with the iPad.

Still. It would be nice if they included some nice premium headphones with this sucker.

I'm more shocked at the lack of a cleaning cloth that one would thing would be essential for a product like this. I mean jeez, it comes with every iPhone/iPod touch, as well as their LED displays. Something with a screen this big, i think, needs one of those microfiber lifesavers.

Edit: Ohh wait. This is supposed to have one of those oleophobic coatings aren't they? Still, something for when it rubs off would be nice...
 
Just delivered a minute ago in Waltham, MA!!!! The driver actually beeped the horn a couple times when he pulled up, which they usually don't do. I guess he knows people will flip out if they see a 'sorry we missed you' sticky.

Now that it's here I'm going to draw things out a bit longer: fix a snack, read some more rave reviews about it while glancing over at my unopened box, and then DIVE IN!!!!!!!!

Mine was at a surprising 97% charged. Perhaps those standby battery times Apple claims will prove true!

Go put a sign out there to let them know your home. Put on your shoes, have car ready in the event they drive by. Chase that sucker down. I'm close to your age and my wife thinks i'm nuts being this excited. Mine left minneapolis at 7:30 this morning heading north. So probably get mine this afternoon. Glad to see folks getting theirs. Enjoy the moment. ;)

Landed

First quick impressions.
Games will be awesome. Played Basketball on it and it was smooth. Switching is FAST! Non- Native iPad apps are not horrible in most cases. Still usable. I loved it so much that I decided to get 2.

1 16gb for the wife, and a 64gb for myself.

Yeah, mine shows that it's still sitting in the Ontario, CA facility, too. I live in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles, so if they can just put it on a truck ... it shouldn't take all day. This tracking is weird. I mean, it left China at 10:44 last night? Then all the way over the Pacific to Kentucky, then *back* across the U.S. to California? Eh ...

Im sitting in Denmark and think its unfair you can get it now...(the ipad)
But im really need them to get the new MBP out cause my laptop has been broken since December...
So APPLE NOW PLZ MBP FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD... Americans don't need it now they got the ipad;)
 
I got mine at 9:10 this morning at the apple store in Columbus Ohio. Loving every minute using the iPad. I have downloaded a bunch of apps which all look incredible. I can say that it's everything I imagined and then some. The keyboard is actually very good so I don't know where the complaints are coming from on that.
