There are extra flights showing up departing ANC as I type this, so clearly the Jumpseat listing I had was incomplete.

I just found TWO enroute to Indianapolis from ANC. Keep refreshing this link to monitor....good chance any West Coast flights wouldn't leave for a bit yet.

WOW, our CA MBA's are still in AK (I just confirmed for mine)???!!! I thought they'd go through Memphis. None of the flights listed by ReallyBigFeet go to places nearer SF than Memphis, so either

a) they forgot our packages in AK, or

b) the list was incomplete and we're going to see them going out to CA later today!!!

Update:

Mine just departed from AK at 4:50 PM. I don't know where it's heading now though. Looks like my Air wasn't forgotten.

I order my Air BTO on Sunday. Still saying 'not yet shipped' with delivery of 1-3 November. Though Tuesday is Melbourne Cup Day, and Monday is pretty much a holiday also, so don't expect to get it until next Wednesday 3 Nov when I back at work.

Still hoping it will ship earlier and get it this Friday. Fingers cross!

Hopefully I get it before Cup weekend.

We don't exactly, just some guesswork.

1) Check outbound flights from Anchorage here:
http://flightaware.com/live/airport/PANC/departures

2) Compare flight departure times with your Fedex scan times

If you get lucky, you'll find a match. The above link gives you the exact flight number. No proof your package is on that flight but its a pretty good guess that if the scan matches (or matches closely), you know your flight number.

From that same site, you can track the actual flight path once you know it.

This is for Singapore to USA packages. European flights are handled more by UPS, but same process applies.

I'm in the DC area too. Mine left Anchorage at 4:02pm. I hope i get it early but i doubt it since i didn't pay xtra for shipping. So Thursday by 4:30 pm it is.
