Sorry to hear it. Gotta be frustrating. So far no update on my order pick up other than to take away all dates and just say pick up in 4-6 business days 😂. So really not sure what that means…

Hope your situation improves! Mine just did - it finally made it through customs and departed Shanghai. So maybe I will yet see it on Monday!
What store are you picking up at?
My 16 GB RAM/ 512 GB SSD Silver Air orignally had a date of Jul 20-22 and now says Jul 22-26. If I look on UPS tracking it says expected delivery is Jul 18th I'm not too confident on that one because it is showing still in China.
So, as I have said - was supposed to be delivered by UPS today but status still shows delayed and will update when new date. Called UPS and they said it is not lost and I would get and update today - sill haven't .
So I had noted this am that was available at local (Portland, ME) Apple store - early today. Later it was still available so I reserved and picked up - what I am using. Guy at store said they had in stock but people who didn't reserve were waiting their turn. Took me a whole 10 minutes to get my machine.
Now I will have to cancel one that UPS has...

The first picture didn’t look that drastic. But the side-by-side showing the Air is essentially just the base of the MBP is pretty awesome. Can’t wait to feel it in the hand vs my IPP+Magic Keyboard.
What's wild is, when opened it's half the thickness of the 16" MBP. We forget that the 14" and 16" are not the same thickness - the 16" is actually 0.05" thicker (0.1cm). Really impressed with Apple's continued efficiency with these tolerances.

When was the amount charged or reserved on your card? I’m in Amsterdam too, and up till yesterday the hold on my card was €0, it changed to a full amount reservation yesterday. I was hoping this meant I’d get my Midnight 8/16/512 sooner than Aug 1-8 but I guess a reservation is not the same as a charge. It got charged yesterday I see in my bank it’s app. Haven’t paid attention to it earlier but I just checked it out.
So like an actual charge, and not a reservation right? I’m going to be waiting for that. I wish I wasn’t so impatient. Feel like a kid who’s waiting for her birthday to come 😂
We're close to Cumberland, but I think we're going to run up to Avalon this weekend for some other errands and of course I'll take the opportunity to pop in the store there and check the machines out in person! Excited!

I apologize if this is not the right thread to be posting this but need some guidance. I work w/ data-heavy spread sheets and usually have my email and a few Chrome pages open (one or two of them being Power BI) on a daily basis. Will a base model work or should I upgrade? Thanks in advance.
My order arrived in Korea today. One step closer! UPS still says delivery on 7/18.

Mine did as well, and I, too, am still scheduled for a 7/18 delivery, in ATL. For what it's worth, other than 1 TB of storage, I have the same configuration.
Got same build except 16GB. Aug 2-9 estimated. Ordered it a minute after pre orders started. Immediately my Apple Card had a pending charge for tax. It is still pending. No movement from Apple. Nothing in UPS.
No indication it’s on its way at all.
