My card was charged today but it still says pick up 8/2 and in processing. Does this means it shipped and apple hasn’t updated the status page?

Well in my case it does say the MBA is actually shipped.

Same config (Netherlands), same dates. Ordered within 4 mins after pre-orders opened. Waiting for signs of movement like a card charge (only a reservation since two days), a shipping update etc. Some people seem to be able to see shipping movements through UPS My Choice. I don’t see any packages there but not even sure if it works the same if you’re not from the USA.
Hoping we all get an earlier delivery 🤞🏻☺️

I’ve ordered the same Config and yes the SSD is slower.
Not a problem for me as I will be using a custom built nvme drive with thunderbolt 3 speeds (all going well) for my main storage.

Ordered 8:00:50AM eastern time: Midnight 8 core GPU, 16GB, 512GB no movement yet, still showing August 2-9.

Midnight BTO seem to be the last of the last to ship (excluding 10 core GPU, 16GB, 1TB model which they're stocking in stores) 😞

I did go to the  store last night to look at them.. Midnight is so nice!! 🔥

Thanks. I live at about the same distance to the Apple Store but delivery was Aug 1-8 and pick up Aug 8th, so I opted for the (hopefully) faster delivery 🤞🏻

I ordered a midnight 8/10 16gb 512gb with orignal delivery estimated 8/2-8/9. I’ve been checking everyday and I noticed yesterday it changed to 8/1-8/8 and was also in the “preparing to ship” mode.

Seems like this is happening to others. Has anyone seen anything actually ship that early? Usually this is a good sign!

Since so many probably ordered, like I did: in the first 5 minutes after you could place, I would imagine many have the same or similar shipping details too - if you're in the US. At least for similar spec'd machines (Silver / 512GB / 16GB). See attached - now in Alaska.
