I wish the keyboard I got with my 24"/2.8 did NOT have the NUM keypad. I find it useless and it takes up desk space that I'd rather have for my mouse.
Also pulled the trigger. 2.93 ghz and ATI card. Delivery est on April 24th. I figured I have a g5 that I can continue to use with my 23" cinema display. Oh well, not too bad.

Correct. Primarily photo and video editing, hardly any spreadsheets or anything like that. Unfortunately I have a Dell PC from my employer for that....
I think that the ATI card is definitely worth the wait for everybody. It would be nice having a card that will not be outdated as quickly as the NVIDIA.
I tried to check my order status and I got a weird problem. When I click the order status and type my Apple ID and password it says:
"We're Sorry
A technical difficulty has prevented us from processing your request. Please click here to return to the Apple Online Store."
Can somebody else check is that a common problem, not just my. Password and Apple ID are 100% right

I just tried to log in to check mine on got a similar message saying :
"Apple's Online and phone Order Status services are temporarily unavailable due to a scheduled upgrade to our systems."
So looks like its not just yours

Thanks man, you saved my Sunday. I started to be desperate about things like "Maybe I got hacked and someone stole my Apple ID".

Got my order in for a clearance 2.8 24" right before the site became unavailable. Checked shortly after and was unable to log in as you guys have noted. My order is now prepared for shipment with delivery between 10th and 13th.

I have a separate box for gaming, so only question was whether the integrated graphics could handle the OS X eye candy to my satisfaction. Needed to see for myself. Went to the Apple Store and Expose seemed choppy on the integrated graphics so GT120 was it.
Perhaps 24" is just too big of a screen for the integrated graphics, perhaps it is really meant for laptops with their smaller screens.

Just got my 2.93 with the 120 Gt. I love it! Photoshop and illustrator run absolutely great. So far it seems very quiet as well, despite some of the comments I read . It's an awesome machine.

I had to leave for tops of 20 minutes to pick up my wife for lunch. I joked to her that this is exactly when FedEx would attempt to deliver.

Debating ordering a 2.93ghz 24" iMac with Radeon 4850. We get a bit of a discount on Apple products through work so it would be $1879 shipped.
I'm possibly going to hold off though for Snow Leopard's release. Do you guys know if Apple will charge for the new OS if you purchased a Mac within a short time frame of the launch of the new stuff?
