The "I'm waiting for an iMac refresh" thread

the last time i checked the rumour says new iMacs aren't coming until 'the end of summer'... wow and now it has been changed to TOMORROW? i am excited! though i better not raise my hopes and expectations too much to avoid disappointment. :/
 
the can't be significant update neither on spec nor design. it's been almost 10 months and i'm still spoiled by my current 27'' model. (it's not freaking huge at all though)
 
i am here to lower all of your expectations

nothing will happen tomorrow

it will happen in the next few weeks or at the end of august

Well here we go, seems early for it to go down, could mean they have to add more than they usually would do, please let there be a refresh to the iMac and not just the Apple Display or Mac Pro!

Usually it goes down around this time so it's up when Americans wake up

I know, I'll be so disappointed if it's just the display (sorry to whoever's waiting for that!) especially after that 'sortof an iMac' rumour thread. With regards to the iLife rumour, if they were to release new iMacs/Pros today, why would they go and release the new iLife a week and a half later? Why not the same day? Doesn't make sense to me.
 
Excellent stuff. Although even if they update today I'm going to wait until mid-August to see if iLife also gets an update it'll be good to see what the specs are. Quad-core in the 21" and I'm totally there, dual-core i3 or i5 with decent graphics and I'm probably going to buy anyway :)

I'll completely laugh if they update something completely irrelevant though. New Time Capsules anyone? :D
