It really seems like all our european iMac orders are collected somewhere in Shanghai. At least our iMacs are in good company for the long-distance flight. I hope TNT has enough units soon to give us a departure scan.
oo, oo, thats what i've got - mines probably next to yours on the paletteB-52 Macer said:Haha, well, that'd be logically correct, but don't worry
Here's what my shipment status page says:

Ord said:Now after my shipment date was pushed back to no later than 5/18, my iMac is in "preparing shipment". I hope it is shipping from California and not China, like others I have read on here. I shouldn't be so hopeful. Now I am just waiting for the shipping confirmation and the tracking number.
Nice, I guess it's gonna be a race when they get to the Netherlands then.fishcalmer said:oo, oo, thats what i've got - mines probably next to yours on the palette
Same here! Mine now says 'preparing shipment' too, whereas it still showed the 'sent to manufacturing' earlier today when the ship date was moved back to 5/18 from 5/10. And, the order page now reflects the updated '2-day' shipping upgrade they gave me for the delay.Ord said:Now after my shipment date was pushed back to no later than 5/18, my iMac is in "preparing shipment". I'm crossing my fingers that I get it before I leave for vacation next Tuesday (5/17).
...and the Netherlands to Germany. Hopefully german customs keep their hands of my iMac! They are sooo suspicious about everything from Holland..B-52 Macer said:Nice, I guess it's gonna be a race when they get to the Netherlands then.

It depends. Random packages are still opened by customs as every country in the EU has different laws on drugs, tabak, alcohol, plants, pornography... Most mail remains unopened though.yvovandoorn said:I had no idea that it still had to go through customs as there isn't any border enforcement anymore.
cosmoed said:I order on 5/6 and it shipped today from sacramento. Expected delivery is friday.
I am pretty relieved, I thought I would have to wait another 2 weeks.
