Just spoke to apple - they said it takes 7 business days to reach me from shipping in shanghai - I guess that means next tuesday / wednesday. Oh well!

NextByte still reckons mines a hefty three weeks ago, which is odd because that's exactly what they said last week.
Someone ought to get them a calendar or something.

Don't get me started on Next Byte! They are the reason I have bought from the on-line store. I kicked up such a stink last time, one of the main managers personally dealt with me from then on. It was good then everything action I did had his name attached and there were some results. They need someone to go in a fix their methods... well here I go again! To be fair, Apple slams them pretty hard. They're always the last to get new hardware and in cases like when Tiger was released, each store was given a meagre six copies each. Of course they're gonna run out! I kinda half blame Apple for the crappy state of NextByte.

No changes on my tracking data either. Apple says 7 days to germany, well now it's the 4th day TNT Shanghai has my iMac. I wonder if they are going to fly it from Luxemburg directly to my door in time? No change in tracking. Left Sacramanto CA at 7:10AM yesterday morning and should have been in Phoenix last night (the normal route to LV). Data must be delayed or trailer is parked somewhere and no scanning done yet. I was hoping for delivery later today but now it looks like the Est Delivery Date of tomorrow (5/13).

It's winding its way through California...better get my desk cleaned off - can't have all that clutter and dust clashing with my beautiful new iMac!

The last time I got a shipment and didn't get any tracking data, FedEx showed up at the door with it. So maybe I will get lucky and have a surprise delivery later today. The drive from Sacramento to Phoeninx can't take 24 hours, so it has to be there or it has already caught a truck to LV.
Mine is supposidly in the United States but tracking hasn't updated in two days. Both UPS and Apple claim that I am getting mine tomorrow. Maybe so but I feel so insecure without the tracking site backing it up. It still says its with an exception in the Phillippines.
However I should relax a little. I see exception notes all the time and frequently tracking stops displaying when an exception occurs. At least with UPS it does.

Update: I got pushed back to 5/16 so I called Apple and got free second day shipping. I also upgraded to the BT mouse and keyboard which extended my shipping date to 5/19. Oh well..I can wait I guess
Impatient Canadian
I ordered from Apple Canada on May 4 with an estimated shipping date of May 11. After bouncing from Processing Order to Sent to Manufacturing to Replaced with New Product (a frickin' modem accessory kit!) back to Processing Order and finally a return to Sent to Manufacturing I have been told that I can expect a shipping date on or before May 23. Calling Apple Store did nothing to clear up the situation. It was the conversational equivalent of a shrug of the shoulders.
From what I can gather from other posts, if you have anything other than a stock purchase than you can expect to wait. I replaced the stock USB keyboard and mouse with the Bluetooth models. I can not fathom how this has caused a near two week extension to the shipping date.
Hopefully Apple has learned from the production blunders from the first generation iMac G5 and these delays have more to do with rigorous quality control and not confused logistics or supply chain problems.

With US companies, tracking isn't updated frequently on the website. Sometimes email them (like you did) or calling (like I did) is the best solution as they have the most current uptodate information.
Heck I had to hear from them that my package was released by customs on US soil, all along the website said it was in the phillippines
