Depart Terminal-(CNSHA02)-12 May 2005 23:45

does that mean it has departed from Shanghai or just arrived at the Terminal for departure :confused:

Same thing shows up for me.
Anyway, I called Apple and they said the plane has left for Europe. The plane will land in Belgium and then our iMacs will be directly transported by trucks to Holland where it will have to go through custom. Then TNT will add the AppleCare and the Airport Express and take it straight to me.
Estimated time of delivery, Thursday the 19th.
That's what she said.

Hey all,

First post here!

I too am waiting for my new iMac to be delivered. I ordered a 20", 2 GHz, 1GB RAM, 250 HD one with Wireless Mouse & Keyboard and a set of speakers (Altec Lansing FX6021) and they were shipped on 11/05/05 and I was given a delivery estimate of 6-7 days. My shipment status now says "Depart Terminal (CNSHA02) 12 May 2005 23:45."

I can't wait until it's delivered!

I called this morning to Apple who called TNT again, and they estimated a shipping of next Tuesday or Wednesday for me in Enschede, Netherlands. So that's one or two work days away (this sounds the nearest :)).

I am starting to think it is not in a plane but on a boat or something, or a plane which is travelling via Antarctica.

Weird, Apple told me they would arrive in Luxembourg to be re-united with applecare & BT Keyboard/mouse etc (which they told me were already in Luxembourg!) and from there to Netherlands and from there to UK.

Good news that they have finally escaped from Shanghai airport though. They should be arriving in one of the low countries in a couple of hours :D

Who cares, the BeNeLux countries are all the same ;)
As long as I get my computer next week I will be happy, really happy :D

Does your TNT tracking info list it is on a plane? Because my last occurence is still the 11th of May. I don't hope it's there sitting lonely in an empty lodge :D

My TNT tracking too still says Shanghai last scan on the 11th, but like the others TNT told me it has already arrived in Holland and the iMac was loaded on a Truck to Germany in the last hour. :D Too bad we have "Pfingsten" Holidays next week, i won't get it until Tuesday or Wednesday. I suppose I have to keep myself busy and my hands away from the TNT website for the next few days. :rolleyes:

I ordered a 20' on the 4th. It was supposed to be shipped yesterday, then I got an email saying that its being pushed back and wont be shipped out until the 19th. :(

This is my first mac and I'm so ready to not have to use this PC anymore.

Also, did anybody else get the email saying that they replaced the imac with a new product? When I checked the old specs of the one I ordered to the new one on the order status page I didnt notice anything different.

My order has been "replaced with new product" twice already. I ordered first thing on the 3rd and my order has been pushed to the 20th!

After speaking to Apple, I am told that "replaced with new product" only means the order is not ready to be filled and not necessarily anything has changed.

Clearly there is not enough supply to keep up with the demand, and how Apple is handling this, is anyones guess.

The FedEx hub is on the way home from work, so I'll probably swing by there first to pick it up (assuming it's not gonna be left on my porch while I'm at work).


Those of you who've had their estimated ship dates moved back a week, there's still a good chance your iMac will ship before then. If it has been more than a week since you ordered, you should also call Apple and gently complain about the delay and request an upgrade to 2-day shipping (if you ordered standard shipping to begin with). When they originally moved my ship date from the 10th to the 18th, I called and asked if they could give me a free shipping upgrade and they did. The delay turned out to be only 1 day as it shipped on the 11th and with the upgrade I should have it even sooner than expected.

It's gonna be a great weekend! Thanks Apple! :p

After nine hours at work, was nice to come home and find its here in europe!!!!! :)

Placed my order on the evening of the 10th and it was initially due to be ready for build on 17th.

However, just checked it now and it's been shipped!!

Hopefully, it should arrive early next week then. Getting more excited now.

anyone else out there in my situation? ordered a 20" w/ BT K/M the day the new machines were announced. the original order was replaced with a new machine (w/ the whole modem accessory kit thing) and now, the order has been stuck at "sent to manufacturing" for days now. it seems like everyone else either has their machine or is at the shipping stage. should i be concerned?

OUT FOR DELIVERY!

Just updated the Tracking Data at FedEx and at 7:38AM my iMac is Out For Delivery. I would estimate somewhere between 1:00 and 3:30PM for delivery.

I will post pictures on my .mac site later today. :D
