The "Ships: By May 7th" information thread

Yeah, even though fedEx rescheduled my estimated delivery date from May 15 to the 17, I'm hoping that it comes Friday. Mine is also in transit to LANTAU ISLAND HK and from other posts that I've read, I think this is where they get on the plane and come to the states. According to some other posts, it should arrive in LANTAU ISLAND HK between 4 and 5 hours from now. Which would be between 4 and 5CST where I'm at. So if they fly right out to the states after that...they might and that's a BIG MIGHT be able to deliver them Friday...hopefully.

We'll see.

Your optimism is encouraging. Despite myself I want to believe. It is 2nd day air afterall so it is possible that it might just arrive before Monday.

Based on an earlier post, if it says "In transit Lantau Island HK", the next stop is Anchorage, AK. All of the times listed are local at each destination, so someone that is good with time zones and math could figure out exactly how long the trip is.

That's what I assumed also, that Anchorage was the next stop. I tried to figure out the times and everything and i was close but i had to leave for work. I am going to try again this evening.

What was your original order date?

Disregard, I see you ordered on May 3rd. I ordered on May 5th and my dates are May 13th to May 19th. It still shows these same dates. They have not changed.

My Delivery date just changed to May 18th-24th. It was originally May 8th- 14th. Order placed April 30th for 16GB 3G. At least it's now prepared for shipment so hopefully early next week it will show up.

How are you being notified that your delivery date has changed? Email or by checking your order online?

I also read in some of the earlier post of people whose ipads arrived in Anchorage one day and they received them the very next day. So if that's the case and our ipads fly out of Hong Kong today and arrive in Anchorage either later tonight or in the middle of the night. We might get them Friday (Fingers Crossed)

Mine too but the activity says "In Transit". So I think that means it's in flight. Maybe the next update we get it'll be saying that it's either in Alaska or Memphis.

Well for St. Louis I'm hoping for Memphis over Anchorage. It's just a little closer.
