I have the LAPHD22(1) version i got on Sep 3rd, and the Volume and Home buttons are too hard to press for me. It's also extremely HARD to get the thing on and off the phone. Took me 5-6 minutes to get it off, and about 2 minutes to put it on. I only tried this once just to practice BEFORE i put it in with a Power Support Screen Protector, but i'm thinking this case just ain't gonna work with a screen protector.

How do I contact them? it appears there Contact Page on the website ( http://www.speckproducts.com/contacts ) takes me to: http://www.speckproducts.com/helpdeskultimate/customer/revalidate/
after i submit it... is this supposed to happen? I tried it about 5 times already so dunno if they got it 5 times or not lol.

Or maybe anyone knows the email address to contact directly?

Send an e-mail to: cservice@speckproducts.com

I finally got a reply they said that a new one will be shipped to me within 2 weeks so I'm impatiently waiting for that e-mail now...

but i'm thinking this case just ain't gonna work with a screen protector.

I think it depends on the screen protector. I'm using the iLuv screen protector that the ATT store sells. This protector covers all but the last mm of the glass which means it does not interfere w/ the PixelSkin HD case. In fact the case's lip comes right to the edge to the protector.

I live in the UK and just got my PSHD in the post today. It's the new revised one and seems to be an excellent case. Bigger headphone port than the bumper and feels nicer in the hand. Didn't affect my screen protector at all!

Do you guys have dainty hands in white gloves or something? I just got my Pixelskin and so did my coworker and we both love the revised one. How is it impossible to press the buttons? Maybe only certain ones of the revised skin have this problem because I can volume up and press the power button with the greatest of ease.

Does yours have the raised border around the edge on the back? (like pictured elsewhere in this thread)

LOL i had just removed the iLuv one. I screwed up both installs anyway and the screen protector is full of scratches now anyway lol. Currently don't have anything on, (tho i better put on Power Support soon as I hear the coating on the screen can wear off and leave spots :\)

I might try to reinstall the now super ruined iLuv, just to see the bubble factor installing it inside this defective Pixelskin HD.

How about reading the entire thread before making snarky comments. There are multiple versions of the case. Some work as designed some do not. Obviously you rec'd a good version. With the defective ones you absolutely cannot activate the volume buttons w/ any amount of force -- hence the reason why Speck is send out replacements.

Hey, calm down it was a joke. That's why I wrote, "If I'm wrong let me know." Maybe they should relabel this thread "Watch out for the bad batch of PSHD." instead of making it seem that all revised ones are bad since this was edited 3 weeks ago it's obviously not a case wide problem kind of like people assuming all iPhone 4's have antenna problems. Hey just a suggestion since people are now getting revised but perfectly fine cases. :D thanks for the correction though.

I just received mine the other day and have already put it back in the box. It comes up over the screen just a little bit less than would be needed to avoid issues with screen protectors. My NGP fits fine; this case does not.

My coworker and I received our cases a day apart. I managed to get the crappy new one, and he received one with the new camera cutout, but the softer material. Needless to say, I wasn't too pleased. I tried to use the contact form on speck's website, but it's giving me errors in both chrome and IE.

Just got my PixelSkin HD today and it seems to have the new oval camera cutout, but not the border around the edge like some people have posted.

Also, the buttons pretty really easily and the material is great, not too soft or hard.

So I'm leaning towards the pixel hd and the griffin perf scilacone..
I know dirt will get into both, but u guys think the holes in the back will allow a lot of dirt to get in?
I really like the transparency o the white one

I've found that after a few days of usage the fit of the HD has gotten much better, if that's possible. Now I absolutely love it.

Has anyone that contacted Speck about receiving a bad version gotten their replacement, yet? I'm curious if it just shows up at your door or if they sent you a tracking number.

I got this case from apple 2 weeks ago and I really wish they had the incase snap on option when i ordered it 8 weeks ago...

The case is nice, adds a little bulk not too much but more then I would like...

I did not like the feel of the case I felt it was a little slippery and I am always gripping it harder then usual afraid it will slip out of my hand, I have very moisture skin so this should not have been happening... anyway that was a major con as i don't want to be afraid of dropping my phone every time i hold it.

My volume buttons are a little stiff but nothing horrible, however, the standby button on the other hand i have been struggling to press it down it is very hard but am hoping it will losen up so I have been pressing it pretty often rather then the home button.

Overall I like the case it's alright but I am probably not going to use it very often since I feel the need of having something a tad bit more grippy and elegant then this case so I am looking foward to the incase snap on

I got an order/shipping number that never worked. I was just sleeping one morning and FedEx knocked on my door with the case. Took about a week overall since I started my first e-mails with Erik.

Just got mine today. I'm very, very happy with this case as I seem to have gotten the newest version.

How difficult is it to remove the case regularly? I need to put my iPhone in an armband when I go to the gym but I'm afraid I'll start scratching the edges or damage the case.

Ok so I reinstalled my ruined iLuv Protector, and you seem to be right... even tho i'm at a slight angle, doesn't seem to bubble.. and this is with the defected case. Looking at the case on the phone tho.... it looks like it just barely covers and possibly place a screen protector can go... so i dunno for sure if it can cause a bubble or not.. i believe some people say it does.. but it sure doesn't look like it would.

Also noteworthy... 2nd time putting the iPhone into the defective Case.. i started from the top instead of .. i guess side from last time.. and then did the side with the volume buttons and then the bottom.. and... well... it seems the power/lock button is not quite as hard to press as the first time, where i could barely get it to work at all.. it's about the same as the volume buttons now.

I'll still be waiting for a non-defective case, however... i think i'll leave this on for now, with the beat up screen protector, so i can at least put the thing back in my pocket instead of leaving it somewhere safe, since i took off the screen protector in hopes of installing the power support, and official back protection layer (just barely managing to stay on still)

I was originally dealing with Erik regarding my Candyshell, but then also received a defective Pixelskin HD through Apple's case program. Now I have been e-mailing back and forth with Janelle. We'll see what happens! I'm still waiting for them to ship out my cases.
