The Speck Pixelskin HD for iPhone 4 is the best case out right now.*EDITED*

Problem w/ silicone cases, at least my experience, is that if you put them in your pants pockets they grab the lining making them a PITA to pull out quickly. I love the way silicone feels but can't deal w/ the grab.

The PixelSkin HD feels good but doesn't grab which is why I like it. The defective versions, notwithstanding, this is the best case in the case program.
 
So Janelle from Spec just sent me a email about a hour ago, and wanted a picture, proof of purchase (sent Apple confirmation PDF since i don't see any paper receipt anywhere), and Address... so it appears they are getting all the information in 1 go now.

Supposedly a 1 - 2 week replacement time.

Edit: this thread bugged? shows a extra page for no reason
 
Yay, my case finally shipped. Hopefully it isn't bad even though I might not end up using it anyways since I've been going naked since July except skins.

Thanks, i feel exactly the same. Couldn't deal with sweatpants pockets being inside out each time I pulled out my phone.
Im gonna order the pixel hd right now...
Just curious if anyone knows which case is thicker. Pixle hd or griffin perf scilacone
 
I sent an email this morning regarding my rough buttons/case and the response was very quick within 3 hours i received an email from Erik and I just now sent my email receipt/shipping receipt with pictures of the back of the phone =] hopefully I will be receiving an alternative case that everyone says is the best soon =]
 
Finally my order was shipped by Apple.. Should be receiving it the 16th.

Lets see what I get for a case.
 
Sent customer service an email. They asked me to send pics of the case, item number inside the case, and a copy of the apple email. They said my new case will be mailed in a week or so. Customer service ftw!

just got mine today its the first revision, love the case but have a pretty major problem, the right side is a tiny bit lose and grinds against the side of my PS Anti Glare whenever I press it, if excess force is used it even displaces the film, is it a common fault or do I have a bad case? left side is fine though.
 
Mine is due to arrive from Apple on 9/20 but I love my Incipio NGP. So unless its a dramatic improvement, I'll just keep it as a backup.

I have both. I originally thought the NGP was the best. That was comparing it to the case with the button issues. Now with my new revision, I have to say I like the Speck better. The PS HD is smaller. It just fits better and adds less bulk. Its not much when you look at them side by side but in hand you can definitely tell the difference. Overall I prefer the fit finish and feel of the PS HD. The only thing I miss about the NGP is the see-through design. If Speck made a matte finish like the NGP, we would have the perfect case.
 
Just received my replacement case from Speck this morning and low and behold I get a pleasant surprise! I got a Speck Candyshell as well as a 3 pack of Shieldview screen protectors! I have to say that this case is just awesome! Speck's customer service is top notch and Erik from Speck was just delightful to communicate with. Big thumbs up to Speck!

FYI-I never had to take pictures or give them any info on my case, just basically told them that the case I received through the free case program was the stiff/defective case and they went ahead and sent me out a better Candyshell. :D

Interesting... It's been over two weeks since I started talking with them and a week and a half since they told me they'd ship me a replacement.

I doubt they changed the shape of it. I've got a perfectly applied (read: it's centered on the screen) PS Antiglare screen protector and the PixelSkin does not overlap the screen protector enough on the sides. Every time I pick up the phone with the PixelSkin installed the edges bump up slightly over the screen protector. Over time it could lift the edges up. My Incipio NGP comes up about a millimeter more, just enough to prevent any issues.

It must be the revised one that does that, because I have the original Pixelskin HD and a PS antiglare, and it doesn't lift at all.
