Ave maria. I am so confused. So I got my 2 cases a while ago (Sadly they were from the bad batch) I emailed Speck and got them to send me replacements. Instead of getting a real answer I just got this vague "Thank you You'll get em soon" Or something like that. Then i get a Sales order number but I look at the receipt and their only sending me one, So I send them an email saying that and some1 else emails me saying

So at this point I guess the guy sent me the email instead of to this "francis' guy or something idk.


Edit: Upon further investigation of the email I see that ontop it says To: My email, From: cservice@speckproducts.com, CC: francis@speckproducts.com
So does this "CC" thing mean that the francis guy also got the email?

Yes. Francis is in the fulfillment department at Speck. He's the one that the customer service people (Erik and the others) have to notify to get warranty replacements shipped out. So that's why he was copied on the email...to let him know to ship you...such and such...as a warranty replacement.

They replied to my original email and asked for my receipt and a picture of the code inside the case, gave it to them and stuff, they replied asking me if I'd like another one of their iPhone 4 cases instead, which is great they offered, but I insisted on wanting a fixed version of my current case, hmf.
 
Just traded my rev.3 for another rev.2 case. Love the hardness and stiffness of the material, I even got the receipt from the guy so I can call Speck and get another rev.3 to trade someone else for their rev.2 to be honest I can appreciate the easier to push buttons but the material just sucks, love that hard ABS feel of the rev.2
 
Bought Rev.2 getting free Rev.3

Here's a follow up on my earlier post, they will be shipping it in a few days.

what screen protector is everyone using with the pixelskin HD? their screenview protectors are matte, and a bitch to apply without bubbles. i went through my whole pack of 3 (came for free with the case) and still can't get a clean install. and my best skin ever bubbled up.

so what screen protector is everyone rockin?

I'm using full body clear-coat and works great!

I just got mine from the free case program. Not sure if I have teh good one or not. It is SPPHD32(1). Please advise...
 
Sometimes it helps to speak up. I asked for a CandyShell and they sent one via FedEx!

yup. i asked for a candyshell in either the black or white color. and they said they'd try their best to send a candyshell. and to my suprise they sent me both the black one and the white.

the one candyshell is definately better than the black. and in my opinon the cadyshell is better than the pixel skin hd.
 
Not to go off on too big of a tangent, since this is a Pixelskin HD thread, but I too prefer the Candyshell. I love the feel and protection. Yes, it's a tad thicker than the Pixelskin HD, but I don't mind really.

I figured I'd try it out so I sent another email to Speck customer service asking to switch from pixelskin hd to a candyshell. Should have no issues.

The Candyshell would be great if it wasn't for the eraser effect.

Some have posted in this thread already of the problem. No they did not fix this issue. I returned my case.
 
Well i musta been communicating via email with 2 diff reps, cause i got 2 replacement cases out of them. a candy shell and a fitted!

I got 2 Pixelskin HDs. I feel bad but...I didn't try to dupe anyone and it would probably cost me more to ship it back to them than the thing costs to produce. Anyone wanna trade?
 
can warranty replace 3rd version (revision of the revision)?

I just got the pixelskinHD via the case program. seems to be the 3rd revision. This thing is waaay too soft compared to the Incipio NGP I got from Walmart. Can I ask for a different case even if I got the 3rd revision?
