Well, the Candyshell is a pretty horrible case. Not sure why anyone would want it. Bulky, scratch magnet. Not fun. But to each his own!

They are AWFUL. I had one on my 3GS, and it looked awful within a day or two. Scratched, flaking. Yuck.

I really like the candy shell as it doesn't add to much bulk, provides better protection than the pixel, and my full body Zagg isn't damaged.

Marc

Yep, me too. I love my CandyShell. Honestly, it's the best case in my opinion that's out right now.

Well, just received the PixelSkin HD in the mail. Case # SPPH321.

Installed it and all buttons are working fine.

Looks very sleek.

Got an Apple Bumper (black) and a ICarbons carbon fiver skin coming in the mail next week so I'll be comparing looks, but the HD looks sweet.

Oh, and I'll get the SwitchEasy Trim (black) too when it's back In Stock.

Then I'll have 3 looks too choose from.

So the HD is winning by default! :D

So I finally got my revised version of the pixelskin hd and it's making my BSE (best skins ever) front bubble up (I have the full body on). Does anyone else have this case and the BSE, are you having the same problem? If not, I also have Switcheasy screen protectors, are those better than the BSE and do they bubble up with the pixelskin hd? Thanks. If not, what is the best screen shield I can buy that won't bubble up with this case? :D

I feel like speck is being unfair with sending some people candyshells and others not. What are you all "complaining" about or even saying to the rep? I have janelle and she isn't even seem to budge.

Janelle provided me with outstanding customer service! 2 PixelSkin HD's and 2 CandyShells + screen protectors!

I <3 Speck :D

I tried to make them work together -- trimming the edges of the BSE -- but the skin is simply too thick to fit under the PixelSkin case. It's a shame because I love the BSE, but I love the case even more. So this afternoon I picked up a pack of CaseMate screen protectors at WalMart - 3 for $7. They're a lot thinner...and the only bubbles are from the installation process.

Question:
The PSHD I got is SPPHD51(1) and I have to say the fit is perfect. My problem is with the "grip" of the material. For me it is far too slippery. I also have a Belkin Grip Vue that I really like because it is slightly grippy but doesn't attract lint at all.

I have seen a few posts in this thread that mention that their Pixel HD is tacky like a silicone case. Is that a newer revision than mine?

Does anyone have feedback on using the Pixelskin HD along with the Powersupport Clear Back and Anti-glare HD?

Do they jive together or is it too tight with the back screen on? How about any bubbling on the front protector taking the Pixelskin HD on and off?

Why would you want to put a film on the back if it's already covered by the case?

What I've done with my Best Skin Ever is to trim around the edge of case..just a bit, but enough where the lip of the case won't hit the skin. It does leave a sliver of glass that's unprotected, but the screen itself is completely covered.

Because sometimes dust gets trapped in the back and scratches up your phone.

I use a hip holdster M-F while at work and this setup would be for weekend use when the phone is in my pocket the majority of the time.

This combination works fine. The case fits perfectly and there is no bubbling.

Hi what makes power support better than let's say Zagg or Clear-Coat?

Marc

Personally, I can't honestly say - As I've not actually used the cover yet because I don't have my phone. But one thing I will say is that I do not like the wet application protectors (Zagg).

Can the PowerSupport be bought at a brick-and-mortar store? Or just online?

PS' B&M store is in burbank, ca if your a local.

i plan on going there this week to pick up two crystal protectors for my soon to be ip4 :D

Looking for case & holster w heavy duty clip for i4

Looking to buy brick and mortar / store....in Toronto....
Is there a place that has the Casemate Carbon or similar?
The weakest point of even the hardest case is its clip...and that's what's going to snap if the holster gets caught on something...
Casemate's seems pretty good...another other suggestions?
I just got my i4 and want to protect it really soon...
A strong clip for a holster that will accomadate a 1 1/2" belt plus a good case and screen protector.....any hints?

Many thanks in advance !
