They are actually living up to their promise I believe
Nope, the fulfillment date was for the 21st. It should of been shipped out before the 21st, but now it’s pushed back to the 24th? I’m skeptical of that date… but my card has been charged, so who knows.

But if you go on the website now, my configuration has been pushed back to June 16th.

My local BB had the Space Gray 11” 256gb, so I ordered that for pick up this morning using my $20 off credit.
I did the same. I just ordered the 256 GB 12.9 pro for in store pickup today. I believe I got the only one as they now show out of stock. It’s an hour and 15 minute drive so I’ll leave around 8:30 this morning to be there when they open. I had pre ordered through t-mobile but had issues with my card on file and it pushed my delivery date back to an unknown date. So I’m cancelling that in the morning as well and I’ll just stick with my Best Buy order.

Damn man. I am starting to get antsy. Hope I can land one today.
If you are looking to buy one from Best Buy... better hurry up and do so. They won't be available soon... models that are available have only few in stock.

Nope, no official charge yet. The cancel button is completely gone now and it says “we’re getting it ready. We’ll ship it by Monday.”
CC charge would provide some assurance that the order is imminent. Not sure why the cancel button is gone if they haven't charged you.

Scored one at Apple - now to see if I can get this BB one canceled somehow.
Congrats! I’m sure you can cancel it by contacting BB directly.

Someone explain?
When did you order it? I hate their wording of orders.. it’s either shipped or arriving. Using arriving by May 28… it could come as soon as tomorrow.

does bb have a restocking fee if i let my ipad get delivered and return it unopened?
Only restocking fees are on cellular iPads.

According to the return policy on BB:
"There is no restocking fee if the product is unopened or if the purchase and the return both occur within: AL, CO, HI, IA, MS, OH, OK, SC and where prohibited by law. The restocking fee will be taxed in select states."

I was wondering if “ships by May 24” was the only and fastest option that I could ever get on Best Buy. Btw, I’m talking about 12.9”. Is there anyone who’s granted May 21 delivery from Best Buy?
On the site it said mine will ship by. Monday. 2tb 12.9 wifi

My order now says “shipped by Monday.” That’s not even close to what my previous communication showed. Which technically I’m fine with since I don’t plan to open the iPad until after WWDC. I am one of the people that agree with the tech bloggers/Youtubers that believe the 2020 model was plenty fast for the operating system that it is currently running. If nothing about the iPadOS changes at WWDC I can’t see the reason to drop $1,000 more for this version iPad when the old one runs the same things just fine.

I’m expecting the M1 iPad to be some kind of fork in the road for the future. If the software is somehow still limited, all this power is wasted.

Anyone here have a convincing argument against my thoughts? Not for the sake of an argument but so I can better see the reason to open this bad boy before Apple holds the WWDC keynote?
