I have had that message for about a week now (screenshot below). If you click cancel and support options, you get options of "this item won't arrive in time," among others. I don't know if it would actually allow you to cancel or not at this point.

The "Cancel & Support Options" is still enabled but the other two buttons are disabled. The link "Why can't I make changes?" is probably referring to the two that are disabled.

"making shipping changes" is disabled for you?

Yes, you can still cancel as I did during the CDW hallucinations maybe two days ago.

i think shipping must be imminent. AT&T and Verizon started shipping this afternoon.....why would best buy not do the same?

Again, I wouldn't put anything past them. I thought that is what was happening with my Airpods Max (which followed this exact same scenario - buttons greyed out, can't cancel) - and then it went to backordered on the day it was supposed to ship and remained there for almost three weeks.

Yup! The issue right now… is there’s so much uncertainty going on right now. Then you add on to the fact.. that Best Buy can be sketchy when it comes to shipping products. I mean, I kind of knew that when ordering. But the way they handled next generation consoles… I applaud them.

They have bot protection in place and when I ordered next generation consoles.. I got them as scheduled.

im not cancelling but it will be a looooong time before I buy anything from them again.

Maybe your iPads are on it too ??

I’m curious about restocking fees on unlocked cellular iPads… is there a restocking fee on that? I understand a restocking fee on smartphones, but none on prepaid smartphone.
Ahh yes, Bestbuy does charge a $45 restocking fee on the cellular iPads, I totally forgot about that.
