Came so close to buying an iPad Pro 10.5 with official keyboard but at the last minute had second thoughts "Wife.... you brought another iPad... storms out of door" put me off lol
I wanted way more than a feeble 'like' button for this one!
I'm getting antsy, I may buy something 'by accident' if October 27 doesn’t come soon!
The temptation is still there!! Seen an iPad Pro 64gb with 2gb allowance on O2 with 50% off upfront so works out to be £14.99 upfront cost then £40 a month thereafter.
I’ve just ordered the iPad Pro 10.5 256GB from CPW for £45 a month with 20GB of data. Although it was £134 upfront.
Just checked for the 64gb one not bad although 20gb of data is over kill for me.
It will likely be more than enough for me too but if you look at the prices it’s weird
For the 256GB iPad Pro to get 20GB of data it’s £45 a month but for 2GB it’s £44 a month and the upfront cost is more for the 2GB option by £30..
Wtf how does that even make sense? Lol
Yup that makes no sense! If I can sell my chromebook I maybe tempted to get the one with more data but selling a chromebook is not an easy task.
Luckily the data is with EE so at least i know it will work great no matter where i’am.
That would be my preferred network as well although a wifi model would also suit me fine as it would be on wireless 99% of the time.
Its role reversal in our house. Hubby not massively into gadgets though he does like his iPhone and iPad.
I got this iPad Pro recently and it is great. Upgraded from the iPad Air but luckily I got through my work so I didn't have to pay - though I use my personal phone for work so don't feel too guilty. If I were still paying for my own iPad I think I may well get on a carrier plan since it's not something I feel the need to upgrade every year. This is my 4th model (starting with the original).
I'd recommend getting the cellular though as you may well end up using in wifi areas more than you think particularly if any wifi you connect to has a tendency to be temperamental (like my home wifi currently!)
Know the feeling! Finding a Watch I like may be keeping me occupied though. Exchanged for 3rd one today (38mm stainless steel Milanese) and think I finally found THE ONE! But also picked the same in 42mm just in case the 38 felt too small again. Will try not to open though. Also got the white sport strap and Fanta looks really nice in too!
whats your thoughts on, ordering 1 iphone X, and then ordering another iphone X, do you think they will try and ship together, or separately, i dont want to delay the 1st one, so the wife might miss out on hers, similar question with cases, will they try and group the orders together rater than separate shipping ???

Congrats! Have you picked your baby specification yet? Do you think it will arrive on the expected launch day? Have you worked out how to pay for it? Finally something more expensive than an Apple product!!

It can vary massively but I was sat in my van with my work phone tethering to my iPad which had the desktop site on it and the iPhone had the app.
Both on different networks and both had full 4G reception.
I would love to be able to see the demand on the servers at 8.01 on launch day!

I just signed up to a 12 month Three plan, about 2 months ago. Had to pay the early termination fee last week as the signal was so bad, as was CS.
Went with the 25gb EE plan for £26 but I got a 20% discount through Bupa

On Three's website there’s a network map .. you pop in your postcode and it’ll tell you. I’m not sure but don’t you have a 28day cool off period with a contract so if you find it’s rubbish you can get out? They’ve always been excellent for me (middle of Wales!) and have been good most of the time when away too. Travel regularly to London and have decent reception most of the journey apart from the 'not spots' which are there on all of the mobile phone companies, like I mentioned it’s Wales lol
Impossible to say what will happen tbh. If stock is constrained on launch there may be not new deliveries to store on a daily basis. Best thing to do is use those stock checking apps after latest much which would notify you when stores got stock available
I remember the days of been on the phone to 3 CS for over an hour trying to get them to give me a PAC code, never going back to 3 again as their CS is absolutely shocking.

I admit I’ve heard many horror stories about them .. I think their CS has improved but it’s still tricky. I did manage to cancel an iPad data contract with them ok but I didn’t need a pac code which made it simpler. They are still terrors at offering endless 'special offers' to try and keep you!
