I already have one and it’s awesome by the way .. recommend it :p

Going to try and wait till black Friday and see what deals come about, keep flipping between the ipad pro 64gb cellular or an ipad pro 64gb wifi + keyboard which are both about the same price over all.

Cellular is handy but I know I would rarely use it and I could always tether from my phone if needed.

Honestly couldn’t justify spending more on a cellular model when you can easily tether with your phone. Most people have huge data allowances. Save the pennies and buy more goodies I say

I thought the same but found it frustrating doing that and not being able to use the phone for certain things. I like the thought of info coming through while the tablet is in my bag with no issues having to go into settings each time to reconnect. Also the effect it has on battery life. You're not always going to be in a position to charge it whe needed. Just easier to have and with alot of data you can watch what you like without worrying about data

Must admit once i went celluar with the ipad i wouldn't go back to wifi only unless i was never going to use it outside the house. Its probably just a few seconds having to connect it to the phone but there would always be problems with it not connecting. It all depends on how you use your ipad and where.

I've got a flight to catch at 4pm on release day. Will have to leave my house by 1pm.

I'll be ordering through EE - does anyone know which delivery company they use, and whether you can pay that company for a morning delivery?

DPD. You may be able to upgrade your delivery to before 10:30 or before 12 by paying extra.

So just over 2 weeks until we know if we'll get one on launch day or if not how long we'll have to wait! I'm extremely impatient so finding this very annoying!!! I really hope they have enough stock to fulfill all orders placed within the first 10 minutes at least, I'm hoping if I can get my order in within 10 minutes of it going live I should get it on launch day or if it has slipped it would only be by a week or 2 at that point ... maybe thats wishful thinking!!!!

That's great news, thanks.

Do you know if DPD allow upgrading delivery slots even on busy launch days like iDay?

I have a friend who works for DPD they do allow specific timeslots but it all depends on how busy that area is for deliveries if they allow it for launch day. I also think the last launch or the previous one the delivery map that is updated in realtime was offline for most of the day either for security or for other technical reasons.

Can see uses but not for me. My iPad hardly leaves the house and it’s the kids who have it more. Missus uses the Pro for the design work now too but no real cellular use for me

What's the best Lightning to USB-C charging cable to get??. Need something around 2m long. The apple one is a bit much to stomach. I found a 29w power plug though for around £17 on Amazon, just need a cable now.

I don’t recall seeing anyone in the iPad Pro threads saying they’d found a USB-C cable that fast charges other than the official Apple one.

Some of the cheaper aftermarket cables don’t support usb power delivery so won’t support fast charging. Check the small print or stomach the apple tax and buy official

Yeah if there's no other option then the official apple one it is but I know how poor the quality of their cables are. I got a great nylon one atm I been using for years on my 6S after the previous 3 apple ones broke. Hopefully some 3rd party ones appear soon.

Honestly just buy a 12w iPad charger or use your existing iPad charger. Chargers almost as fast as the 29w one and a fraction of the cost (£0 if you have an iPad already..)

Impossible to say what will happen tbh. If stock is constrained on launch there may be not new deliveries to store on a daily basis. Best thing to do is use those stock checking apps after latest much which would notify you when stores got stock available

I have been using the istocklive site to check for the watch I wanted coming into stock since my online delivery order had long wait. Handy site although when I swapped out an Apple Watch in store last night I mentioned I had been checking their stock daily for another model to pick up. Assistant said that items only usually show up in stock for people pick up if they have more than 5 in stock.

As it happens it's the third S3 I've tried but finally found one I really like. Went back down in size to a 38mm and got silver stainless steel. Really like and it great for taking a long handsfree call tonight :D. Although I wanted with the white sport strap only the Milanese has been in stock so got that and a white strap separately (and a sport loop!) so feel I also have a nice starter set of straps. Now to get a knock off Hermes style leather strap or two!

I am looking for a new sim only deal , THREE are offering 30gb unlimited mins texts, with global roaming and hotspot for £18 per month on 12 month contract, can also get £65 cashback with quido

does anyone know if there signals have improved ? I was with them years ago but changed due to bad signal

I am in glasgow, Scotland :)

I left 3 for EE about 2 years ago and have not looked back, I never had a 4g signal on three even in places that their coverage map said there was excellent 4g coverage I was still on 3G whereas everywhere I go now I get 4g. I also didn’t like the fact of how the implement key features of their network like Wifi calling or voLTE where to use either you need to be in a low/no service zone whereas other networks prioritise these features the same level as 3/4G rather than as a way to fill in no coverage. I have family members who are still with them and it doesn’t seem to have improved since I left

I phoned them about this the other week and they said it is possible to upgrade but if you want it by 1200 then you need to pay for pre 1030 on launch day due to how busy they are. The costs were £10 pre 1030 or £5 pre 1200

@The Game 161 I had a moment of madness, ordered an iPad Pro 64gb with 2gb of data from o2 with device cost up front of £14.99 with free office 365 for a year (I am paying for this currently) so works out to be £39 a month which is only £5 more than going through paypal and the apple store.

Could of got more data but wanted to keep the price down to a minimum and it will be on wifi 99.9% of the time.

Ordered a cheap case from amazon which covers the back and decided to keep my chromebook as it's nice having a proper laptop still.

How much is that per month? thought you might pull the trigger and get one. Guessing you get good data signal where you are? what put me off o2 is I don't get any 3G coverage in the office at work so me going with EE was a big reason for getting the pro. I got the apple leather sleeve copy from amazon so I can put the pencil in it. Thought might as well get that for £9.99 instead of the massive £130 from apple. My pro arrives tomorrow as does my smart cover which i ordered from apple. looking forward to setting it up. It's kind of made me tempted to sell my 12.9 if i don't use it as much. Or go get the macbook pro with touch bar as Currys are giving £450 off the orginal price.

It's £39 a month for 2gb and I get a full O2 signal at home and work I could of got more data but I get 32gb of data on my phone so if I run out I will just tether and office 365 for an entire year sealed the deal for me so I won't need to pay for that for 12 months now which is a bonus.

Will get the iPad unlocked in the future as well as will be looking to use it in Indonesia when we all go there next year to visit my wife's family.

I have decided to go with the iphone X, will use an old phone until then.

Would anyone be interested in buying an iPhone 7 plus matte black 256GB ?

Just received from my insurance so in like new condition, no box but comes with charger, lightning cable and headphones :)

Can pay via paypal so safe and both covered !

Let me know if anyone is interested :D

I've actually got an offer of £630 for my ipad pro 12.9 wifi with smart keyboard included. So thinking about accepting and just rolling with my 10.5...hmmm
