I've always been against monthly fees for current accounts, however I've just signed up for a Nationwide FlexPlus account, which seems to have pretty decent mobile phone insurance. I was about to pay around £90 for my annual travel insurance, but now paying £156 for this account, with travel insurance, phone insurance and other benefits. Find a friend (;)) to recommend you and you both get £100 too, making it quite cost effective.

happy to recommend anyone who wants to sign up to FlexPLus. It's a great account and the benefits are really worthwhile, especially the mobile phone insurance
 
11 DAYS & 4 HOURS MORE GUYS! I cannot wait for it to pass, I'll be staying up all night with RedBull, Coffee and snacks to keep myself awake until Friday 8:01am, then I'll hit the checkout button, and then fall asleep!

I cannot believe more than a month has already passed. I set a countdown on my iPhone, and I remember seeing it at 50 or 55 days back on the day of keynote, and now I look at it and it says 11 days 4 hours 7 minutes. I was really disappointed to hear the late pre order date, but finally the day is almost here. I think my mind will only relax after placing the pre order. After that, I just hope I get it by Christmas.

I think demand in UK will be less because we have less people and the price is also really high, even contract prices and not a lot of people pay £75-80 per month for a phone or are willing to shell out £1k, so I guess we all should have a good chance of getting it on Nov 3rd or at most before Christmas.

But let's see!!! I hope you all get it by Nov 3, and if anyone has a time machine, please fast forward us to Oct 27 :)

The iPhone X 256gb will sell out do you think it's worth it to go for the iPhone X 64gb black version since no body will want that one and it will most likely not sell out as quickly or should I just try for the iPhone X 256gb silver edition? thanks Just the thought of pre-ordering has been taking over my life, it's all I have been thinking about.

I succumbed to buying a GPS Series 3 last weekend. My first Apple Watch. It won’t be going back - I love it. I have just been for a walk to close my activity rings - 7 days achieved. Not sure buying that will stop me going for an iPhone X on the 27th though. If I can get one for the 3rd I’ll probably buy it.
 
There’s a lot of us who have bought an ‘interim’ Apple product just to fill the void left by Apple before the X.

Got the series 3 too and still not been convinced it was a must have purchase for me but hey ho, it does look good
 
Also bought a Cellular S3 SBSS watch to satisfy the urge between now and then. I had a S0 watch and it was ok but I sold it in the end, I find this one much better though

Sorry if this has been covered already.. Just getting my apple store app ready for the launch a bit in advance, and want to know what people thing is the best payment method.

I seem to remember last year a few people who ordered with Apple Pay had issues with payments being cancelled (something with iOS being reinstalled maybe) but other than that which shouldn't be an issue in my case I assume Apple Pay is going to be the quickest way to get the order through at launch time?

No ones got cancelled but when Apple went to charge the cards they payments were declined. People were able to go and approve the charge with the bank and all was ok when Apple retried. IIRC no ones dates were impacted

Go for whichever you need. If you are happy with 64GB storage then why even think of the 256GB? No point of spending extra money on storage you will not end up using. If you need more storage, then obviously the 64GB wont suffice (also remember you don't actually get 64GB, you'll get about 55GB of usable storage).

Oh I totally want the 256gb version of the X. I just returned my iPhone 8 plus 256gb and am just waiting to preorder the X 256gb silver Lord Willing!
