This was me on the 8 pre order and I wasn’t even buying one!

Do you have to refresh manually or does that happen automatically?

Not quite the same. You can't get the same desktop experience on a viewport size of a phone or tablet, thus the need for mobile/tablet apps which specifically cater for the UX for a device screen of that size. A desktop browser gives you the screen real estate and also cater for inputs like mice and trackpads etc which lend to a richer full browser experience.Safari on iPad/iphone also exists for that purpose
With Foxconn X output ramped up to 400,000 a week, i think its fair to say delivery will be on schedule for the pre-orders. I am leaning towards the 64GB though (a complete downgrade), seeing i am currently down by only 31 of 128 after the iOS 11 clean up
I hopereinstates the 128GB model in the next iterations
400,000 a week doesn’t seem much with less than 3 weeks to go, that would be 1 - 1.5 million more. I thought rumours were there would be 12 million for launch? So is it looking like stock won’t be too bad for launch then compared to initial thoughts?

I also had my iPhone, iPad and MacBook out last year for the iPhone 7 Plus pre order and will be doing the same this year for the iPhone X.That's hilarious thought in fairness I had 3 devices on the go (iPhone, iPad and Macbook). My iMac was only one I didn't use as have had to temporarily relocate my router and wifi sigal to that part of the house is temperamental!
Then again I was ordering a watch so maybe not so crazy![]()
More than enough to go around this forum i'd say......10 days to go still! Don't know about you 'am getting mine

Do you think we could get priority access? Like concert tickets!!
Sounds like a perfectly reasonable idea. Now, who's got the hotline to Tim?Do you think we could get priority access? Like concert tickets!!

wowIt’s peanuts. Wasn’t at&t alone expecting 1m orders for the X. That’s just one carrier in the US. Given the X pre orders will be available in over 55 countries from the 27th, that’s not much to go around.
wow
iPhone X will be available for pre-order beginning Friday, October 27 in more than 55 countries and territories, and in stores beginning Friday, November 3
how many will get ordered in the 1st hour????, i reckon 1 million per country= over 50 million in the 1st hour= 2018 shipping
why oh why did apple go for 55 countries, its far too many, why not wait 1-2-3-4 weeks and drip feed them
Are they going to have it unlocked and sim free at launch? thanks If not are they all exactly the same and work on any carrier if they are unlocked but come with a sim card?

Remember also that the stock has to be made specially for each country - language, packaging, any required regulatory markings etc. - so they will have had to plan specific stock allocations for each country. I suspect that in many of the 55 countries availability will be severely limited and possibly a few weeks before anyone takes delivery. That’s just really bad logistics. You don’t ship a million iPhones to Denmark versus a million to the USA. They have already got a set amount for each country and it’s not the same number across the board. Expect countries like UK, US, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, China etc. to have higher numbers than those in India, Czech Republic, Croatia etc..
