The watch will ship as soon as it's available, maybe same day and your contract will start at that point. The phone may not ship for a while. Personally I'd wait till you have the phone, happy with your EE contract, then get the watch.I have decided I will be ordering with EE from 8.01am and getting the apple watch series 3 in that same order. The sim only prices are too expensive to go via IUP and sim only for EE
Is that true? Trust me... that’s a lot for John Lewis this early!Went to my local John Lewis yesterday and they said they're getting no in store stock of the X. The guy looked on his computer to see what was held centrally and he said 700 for each capacity in each colour (I.e 2800 total). Gonna be a nightmare to get one of these I think - tomorrow we will find out!
This time tomorrow I’ll hopefully have bagged my X (no pun intended) and be on my way to Old Trafford
Yeah maybe, I will still need to change my number from three to EE so maybe waiting to get that sorted first wouldn't be a bad idea. I would also say just ordering the phone will be a quicker process to get it ordered so i will get one on launchThe watch will ship as soon as it's available, maybe same day and your contract will start at that point. Really unsure wether to try to get an X, 64 or 256, typical Apple made a drop from my 7+ 128 which is perfect.
Both sure what to do, not using all 128 but more then 64, which is what Apple want really!
I use iCloud photo library, have top tier iCloud, it's using 35Gb on my iPhone, but suspect it would use less on a less Gb iPhone, is this what happens?
I'd have to delete some videos and big apps, and nearly then be at 64Gb but unsure really.
What are other '128Gb'ers doing for an X choice?
I just want to pre order the £1k iPhone X
Anyone else like me who, when the X was announced, thought “nah, too much/not this year”. Yet here I am, a day and a half away all ready to buy!
This was not the process with iPhone 7 or iPhone 8.I've seen on other threads that if you buy a phone outright, then return it to Apple and try and transfer it to IUP, then they won't give you the phone back, they would put it back into the system and need to get you a new device.
But then if they didn't have stock you wouldn't get one!
I was planning to try and get one outright and transfer but this has put me off. And I think my wife had a similar thing explained to her last year regarding her iPhone 7 when joining the IUP.
Anyone know if there is any issues with have same Apple pay card on multiple devices?
I was thinking of setting up on my iPad as well as a backup!
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the payment details to a different person for the upgrade programme once it has been started?
Hi guys,
I'm planning to order via the Apple Store app as per everyone's recommendations. Is it better to use Apple Pay as I've just got my debit card setup and ready to go for tomorrow?
You won’t be able change the name of the agreement given it’s a signed credit contract between Barclays and yourself, but you would be able to change the direct debit details of the account the payments are taken from.
You’ll have to contact Barclays about it. The agreement stays in your name though so if payments aren’t kept up with it’ll impact your credit score not theirs!Do I need to contact barclays/apple about that, or can I do it in my apple account or something?
I would definitely go for Apple Pay: paying by card, even if saved, may require you to insert the security code - extra time.
Make sure your hands are super dry tho![]()
You don't - there is a dedicated "pay with apple pay" button at checkoutCheers thanks - How do I select it on the Apple Store app as it still says my primary payment method is my card?
