It’s quite a sobering thought seeing £999 sitting in my account which is just for a mobile phone.

The money would probably be wasted on something else otherwise so at least im getting something for it, but still..£1000!
I just want tomorrow over with... get the £999 out of my account and let me breathe a sigh of relief! I’ve been pretty disciplined not spending this money but it’s wearing thin!![]()
So when do we find out the estimated delivery - after ordering?
I read that if you open the box they then have to issue with a new phone. So if I open the box and use it, I could then go in to the store to return for a refund and move the SAME phone onto the upgrade program (I'm already on the upgrade program)? This was not the process with iPhone 7 or iPhone 8.
Those who purchased the phone out right could then return it to the store for a refund and then re-purchase the same phone using the upgrade program. Only issue is that if you fail the credit check you then have to buy the phone back again for full price or you are left without a phone.
I sold a drone I wasn’t really getting enough use out of for £900 and I’ll get ~£350 for my 7 so I’m good with it!It’s quite a sobering thought seeing £999 sitting in my account which is just for a mobile phone.
8:01amJust making sure.. it is 8AM tomorrow yeah? Snapchats iPhone X story says its 7AM and is making me question my self!
I don't ever recall a new iPhone ever being cheaper than the one it replaces from the previous year.Same here and next year hopefully it will be a more reasonable price or at least some more choices available and cheaper than £999!

I will breathe a sigh of relief when I see the order completed with a delivery date of 03/11 or as close as possible to it.

From what I got told straight after you have pre ordered it.
No you will see before you order the estimated shipping times
This screen is for the 8+ and it’s shows when it will deliver. Hopefully we will see that showing 3rd Nov and not the dreaded ‘dispatches 7-8 weeks’

Question though, what’s the fastest way to refresh your Apple store app? Close and reopen? Or is there a way you can mash on screen? Like from being updated to actually showing up things.
So roughly how many units do you think will be avalibale just in the UK? I’m assuming quite a few people will be going for the 256gb?

Once you see that and get to checkout does that confirm you get delivery for those dates or can it change during that process

Best not to get too fancy with options on pre-order, just buy right off the bat. Cut down the “process” because each process have it’s inherited risk of either not going through, or failing altogether.
Original iPhone dropped $200 USD mid-release, and then the 3G was introduced at another $200 USD lower from that price ($599 -> $399 -> $199 for 8GB phone; subsidized phone plan, hence, low price).
