Sure this has been asked a million times before but this thread is over two hundred pages long(!!) so does anyone know whether silver or space grey is likely to be most popular? Not bothered about the colour so will go with which ever I have a better chance of getting.

Poll from another thread. Pretty even split really. 1D34434B-F73C-4D66-982F-F151007BA9D7.jpeg

Mine on EE is £25 with 30gb, some on here pay £17 for 31gb with EE.
I pay £20 for 25gb, there are 20% off codes available if you’re eleigible I’m certain schemes. But they’re generic codes so probably available somewhere on the web

I'm skipping the 'X' but folks who are ordering, setup your order as a 'Favourite' then access via Account > My Favourites in the apple store iOS app.
Hopefully this will save you some time.

Vodafone just told me that their 256GB price is £200 upfront, £4.94 delivery charge and £68 per month, (which you can enjoy a 15% rebate if eligible). This is for 16GB+10GB (promo), unlimited minutes, unlimited calls, 24 months contract. Seems much more sensible. Also, phone comes with 2 years warranty if bought from them.

Next year is going to be interesting because of the delays with the iPhone X. If Apple go back to traditional September releases with the iPhone 11, most people on the UIP programme or a carrier contract will only be 10 months in to their contract

Spotted on twitter - someone was able to pre order an iPhone X 256GB via Verizon. I guess it was a loophole, that's been patched now. I am sure the person's order will get cancelled!

If you wait you can get it for around £20 for 20gb
Not anytime soon you won't. Wouldn't be a smart business decision from EE to put out better deals than going on contract and you can't really wait around hoping something will come up

should of took the offer they had the other day..

looks like I will be doing the £87.99 a month annual upgrade contract.

My work have a scheme that gets you 20% off but as my tarried was an “offer” you can’t apply the discount annoyingly.

Haven't been in for launch day i-madness for a while. Used to upgrade my ipad on launch day every year from the launch ipad until the ipad mini 2, and my current phone (6s) was bought halfway through the year so no launch madness there either.

Properly got the bug this time round. Will be preordering the 64GB X from apple on the app. Once I've done that i might also look at any Vodafone deals as i'm eligible for the 15% discount.

To be honest though i don't need more than 5GB of data, i have wifi at home and work and i never stream on the train.

Paying monthly to a provider is just a way of hiding to yourself that you are spending £1000 on a phone. If you have the money in savings then its best to buy it straight out, and setup a monthly transfer from your current account back into your savings account until you pay yourself back.
