well im giving them a call to see whats up, called halifax and they said all is fine. Still got two other orders from argos and CPW as backup but would prefer apple to go through as i know they'll deliver next friday
Let us know if you get through... I tried, just got hung up on by the automated system!

Full amount is pending on our credit card but it is a card we use for daily spending to generate rewards and then pay in full every month. Have just applied and got a fee free 26 month 0% transfer card with Halifax so will transfer the cost of the X to the new card

Was going to do the Barclays finance again but actually this way I can pay it off more quickly and use the excess 'profit' from selling my 7+ to reduce my balance immediately.

Another 7 day countdown and then crazy tracking day :D

I don't think so (I was checking after I ordered and seemed to go straight to 2-3 weeks) and bearing in mind it would be 2-3 weeks from today it is actually 1-2- weeks from 3 Nov.

If you believe them. I wouldn't trust CPW as far as I could throw them.

2-3 weeks till it ships. Can add on 5-7 more days whilst it works it’s way through the 10 countries or so my 7+ did last year

Was trying to decide between the SG 64 or 256GB. By the time the store was available at 8:07am, Apple had made the decision for me and I managed to grab SG 64GB for pick up next week. I had a 128GB 7 and didn't max out the storage so should be okay with iCloud stoarge

I'm guessing that the 3 November delivery batch are on their way, or already in the UK. Presumably the 2-3 week people (including myself) will be dispatched straight from China, maybe late next week?

im still constantly getting declined authorisation messages from the apple website when trying to re-enter payment details...

Ordered mine as soon as the Apple Store App came back online, got a 2-3 week date, i don't mind that. It quickly moved to 5-6 weeks tho glad i got my order in when i did.

Yeah I'd definitely be ditching that bank due to combination of the misinformation/stupid policy and still not working after you've called them.

Which bank is it?

I keep getting the same error, which card are you trying to use?
halifax but its sorted now, call apple up, they got rid of the apple pay payment and just put my debit card in, halifax then texted me saying whether it was fraud or not, said it wasn't and then retried and then payment went through. Delivery now for 3rd november. HAPPY DAYS!!

Whatever you people do, do NOT call Apple and give them your order number, you are in for a world of hurt if you do. Just stay calm and try again a little later, I believe Apple hold your order place for 24 hours until its cancelled.

I managed to reserve an X for iUP upgrade next Friday but looking at what I owe on my 7 Plus £311 and what it's still worth £400-500 it doesn't seen worth giving it back.

Anyone else in a similar position? I'm thinking I might just sell my iPhone and rejoin iUP

I'm having similar thoughts about my iPhone 7, seems like a bad deal to simply hand it back now and start a new 20 month contract as Apple will give me less now than it's worth after my extra 2 payments.
