I've prepaid and selected store pickup. Only did this last year when I had to pay on the day. Do you just find anyone in an Apple t-shirt or still have to get in the line for people doing IUP and IP and wait?

This is why I went for a store pickup option. If Nationwide declined (their fraud dept have done this to me before) at least I can try again quickly/with another card in store!
I have also chosen to pick up in store. Is it the case that they’ll process the payment in store? And can I choose iUP if I want?

Ok mate, thanks for the advice.

If I went with the 2nd order that is on the credit card already would my delivery date be much different?

So both are 13-20 Nov? Impossible to know. If I were you I'd probably change to credit card on the first order and if it changes delivery range, cancel it and keep the other order. If date stays the same, cancel the second order. Doubt it will make much difference at the end of the day.

just checked my EE order tracker and says delivery for 3rd November :)

ditto with the delivery date mine says expected though but am happy the rep waived the upfront cost for me although i am paying an early upgrade fee so they are making profit from me lol keep me informed how it progresses mate as i think were one of afew on here who have ordered via EE.

do you have the number to call. Also is it free?
the number I called was 08000480408 I think 0800's are free now from mobiles, so you should be ok. I had to wait about 10 minutes in the Q

will do, always good to hear others updates on the same carrier

looks like if you ordered from EE now the delivery date is slipping to two weeks

this must mean there have a good amount on stock if thats correct

you go with the same tariff as me? mine is the 87.99 a month 100GB data

anyone with payment issues keep trying apple constantly you will eventually get put onto the que will be another 15 mins wait and then they will change your payment details manually, its a known issue the advisor said its all he had been doing all morning, all I can say is what a shambles!! I should never have used Apple Pay in the first place.

Apple Repair details are now up for anyone considering adding Apple Care Plus. Personally I think its worth it.

Screen Replacment: 286.44
Other Damage(Smashed Back): 556.44

Personally for piece of mind, and knowing how expensive those prices are 199 for Apple Care seems reasonable for me. Yes you have the excess but then its only got 225 for a screen, and 279 if you destroy the phone.

Let me know what youse think.

Anyone struggling with getting hold them just keep trying took me at least 15 attempts, then get them to manually add your card it should then work as it did for me.

Last year I paid in store. This year it seems they've created a "pay first, pick up later" system instead. Honestly, i'm not sure - Apple have never done that before for in store pickups!

First time ordering via apple. Usually upgrade with Vodafone each year. I’ve got a 2-3 week shipping period. In the past, has this ever changed to an earlier time?

Going by past iPhone orders - all of mine I haven't received on launch day have had their delivery dates come forward. I imagine it'll be the same this time round.

I paid via Apple Pay and the order went through but on my bank account there is no authorisation?

Ahhh
some of us had problems with that also, again no fault of our own------ Apple apparently
Managed to eventually get apple pay to go through on the Your order page, amend card details. Now have many Card declined in Wallet and on Barclaycard statement 6 entries declined £0.00 but 1 £1149 pending.....

I've now tried 3 different cards - non of which are blocked by bank - and getting authorisation failure every time.

Trying to call Apple but can't even get into call queue.
Try using the support app - that's how I got through to someone and got my details updated- downloaded the app from the App Store - Apple Support

If you think about it, the speed of using Apple Pay got us a confirmed reservation :p
