I ordered onine and got a 2-3 week shipping date :(
Luckily i managed to order another for pick up on the 3/11 from my local apple store.

Its not letting me cancel my first order and im a little worried apple will attempt to take out two payments!

Is anyone elses order status in "order placed" with an expected delivery of 2-3 weeks?
Yes it happened to me as well and I love in Scotland. I saw a post earlier from someone who managed to order from carphone warehouse and get a delivery date of 03/11. I just ordered another iphonex, but this time from carphonewarehouse and got an estimated delivery for 03/11!

When it goes to "order in progress" you can cancel online.
 
Need to call Apple up ASAP. Tell them the situation and they’ll get rid of Apple Pay. Then make the payment with your debit or credit card and it should work. If you don’t get through, then use a different card possibly.
What he said. I tried 3 different cards, called bank and still auth failed. Then I even tried Revolut virtual card which got declined as well by which time I knew that the problem must be on apple's side.
Calling them sorts it out.
 
I got the confirmation email at 08:08 and it shows Apple Online Store Gbp in transaction history under Apple Pay. BUT with an amount of £0.00. Anyone else? Is this normal until things get processed

Had a tell of a time this morning when the works WiFi wasn’t working so was trying to use the app with 3G and the website was still saying ‘come back’

Wife got one tho for launch - I hate her :)
 
Full amount is pending on our credit card but it is a card we use for daily spending to generate rewards and then pay in full every month. Have just applied and got a fee free 26 month 0% transfer card with Halifax so will transfer the cost of the X to the new card

Was going to do the Barclays finance again but actually this way I can pay it off more quickly and use the excess 'profit' from selling my 7+ to reduce my balance immediately.

Doing the same route as well. Couldn't get the upgrade option this morning, so had to pay full price. So will sell my 7+ (pay off the remaining upgrade cost) and move my cost of X iphone to a free x months 0% transfer card like the Halifax. Or might keep the 7+ and sell my 6+ used for my Drone, instead. We be cheaper not using the upgrade program (and it didn't help either getting an early upgrade), as not paying the AppleCare (£200.00) and the upfront £69.00 cost to.

Really hoping I don't get UK Mail delivering my iPhone 10 as I won't be home all day on the 3rd nor at my office (will be in Birmingham for an ISO meeting)

Might see if I can bribe my dad to wait at my home for the delivery and pay him in cups of tea and rich tea biscuits!
 
Secured a reservation for in-store pick up via the iPhone Upgrade Programme...for December 2nd.

Managed to jump onto the website as soon as the store opened and saw that the model I wanted was available for launch, but no option to reserve. By the time I got to the reservation page (through the app), the delivery estimate slipped to the end of November, then December. Kinda sucks.
 
So both are 13-20 Nov? Impossible to know. If I were you I'd probably change to credit card on the first order and if it changes delivery range, cancel it and keep the other order. If date stays the same, cancel the second order. Doubt it will make much difference at the end of the day.

Yeah both delivery dates are 13-20 Nov.The chap said if both orders are showing delivery dates are still saying 13th - 20th November when they have gone through order progress stage then to they should still come in the same batch. it’s not like one would come on the 13th and the 2nd near the end of the week.

How are managing to get reservations at this late stages I am getting the "We are no longer taking reservations to buy iPhone right now" message?
 
Just to give UK readers the heads up. The X is still available for delivery or collection at the Carphone Warehouse. Just ordered a 256GB X for collection next Friday. Best hurry though....

I had the apple pay decline issue so i’ve just rang apple and changed my payment method to a card payment and all is sorted. Delivery date 3rd November is unaffected. Had the same issue last year, never using apple again for iphone pre orders.
 
All sorted - finally got through over phone and they removed Apple Pay and put in card details manually. All sorted and on target for 2 x 256GB iPhone X for 3rd November!!!
 
Carphone warehouse is starting to show out of stock for some sim free models. Maybe their stock counter isn't complete rubbish?
 
Managed to get 256GB silver for 3rd November delivery! My WiFi actually cut out at 8:02am and I had never sworn so much in my life. My wife was incredibly disappointed in me re: bad language. "It's just a phone, calm down!".

I managed to use 4G and order at 8:10am, for 2-3 week delivery. I was gutted.

My Mum, on the other hand, managed a 3rd Nov delivery, took pity on me, and swapped the addresses so I can have hers! Rollercoaster of a morning.
