yeah same tariff i'll be able to tether my macbook pro now and not worry about usage the beats wireless headphones are a nice bonus that wasn't announced until this morning probably won't use them as i have the air pods but will make a nice christmas present for someone so saves me that lol.

Yeah as I have the air pods not sure would use them. Might just sell them.

FYI that's tech support, they'll just try and transfer you to sales at which point they'll tell you the queue is full and you will have to try again later.

Correct there. Even though some are having/had glitches. At least the Order number and date stays.
Personally the best way was using the Apple store on iPhone, tapping then deleting, until you got access.

They never will. It'll show in reservations instead.

Yes, but can't see my reservation online. I can see on my iPhone apple store app and I have a confirmation email.

I've pre-ordered the Space Grey 64GB iPhone X but i still haven't received an email to confirm it. When i check my orders on the Apple App it says 'We've received your order'. Do you think it's just a delay for emails or...

UPDATE: It turns out that because i used Apple Pay the payment didn't go through. I tried changing payment method via the Apple website but failed multiple times. I've been on the phone to my bank multiple times and they couldn't find an issue. I also tried calling Apple multiple times and i couldn't get through for AGES!! I've just got off a 40 minute phone call to Apple. They've taken my card details and it's all approved! Delivers 3rd November!!! Yaaay!!

No joy reserving under the iUP. App didn't start working until about 8:10am. What are my options now? Using the Apple store app, I have the X in my basket (but not yet paid) and it is saying dispatched in 5-6 weeks. I have seen other posts on here that say you can order for home delivery, receive the phone and then take into Apple Store, get a refund and then buy again on the iUP (or in my case I actually want iPhone Payments). Can this definitely be done? If so, does the cost hit your credit card upon placing the order or when you actually receive the phone?

Alternatively, should I just try reserving again on morning of 4th November. Would be happy just to get the phone this side of Christmas but definitely want to spread the cost and not pay upfront.

Such a shame that for those who payed using Apple pay on an Apple app for an Apple product had payment rejected including me. Whether it’s the banks fault or apples fault god knows but it really should’ve been fixed. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes.

Managed to get 256GB silver for 3rd November delivery! My WiFi actually cut out at 8:02am and I had never sworn so much in my life. My wife was incredibly disappointed in me re: bad language. "It's just a phone, calm down!".

I managed to use 4G and order at 8:10am, for 2-3 week delivery. I was gutted.

My Mum, on the other hand, managed a 3rd Nov delivery, took pity on me, and swapped the addresses so I can have hers! Rollercoaster of a morning.

Apple Repair details are now up for anyone considering adding Apple Care Plus. Personally I think its worth it.

Personally for piece of mind, and knowing how expensive those prices are 199 for Apple Care seems reasonable for me. Yes you have the excess but then its only got 225 for a screen, and 279 if you destroy the phone.

Ouch, makes me glad I always get AppleCare, yet to actually break an iPhone, but still better safe than sorry.
Even though I've got onto the IUP now, the wife's one isn't and she can break a phone like nothing else, god knows how.

if its the same model over 100 pounds on currys website so should be able to sell them as close to that as you can might do the same as i'm not sure who i would give them to and whether they would use them.

Grabbed myself the T-mobile US version. Took until about 08:10 for the store to come up for me. Paid the £840ish and delivery set to my friend in LA for Nov 17-24 which is great as I land in California on Dec 7th.

I must be the only one on this forum who wanted a delivery date later in November than launch day.

Luckily i managed to order another for pick up on the 3/11 from my local apple store.

Its not letting me cancel my first order and im a little worried apple will attempt to take out two payments!

Is anyone elses order status in "order placed" with an expected delivery of 2-3 weeks?

nice one, it kept messing up for me, got a 3 week wait (from now) might try check back every AM and see if i can get one earlier. My email says "It’s scheduled to arrive by 18 Nov" wonder if there is a chance it comes prior to this date

Tried joining the upgrade at 8:01, no joy. Then managed to get a store pick up in Brent Cross (1H:30M drive)...again (same thing happened with SE). Chose Paypal Credit and it showing pending (Paypal side). Did it go through or could it still get declined?

On the device you used to place the order, go to settings - wallet & Apple Pay - then select the card you used and view the transactions tab

Don't worry. Once it says "Order in progress", you can edit details and most likely cancel then.

Go to Wallet, select your card and then select the transaction History under transactions also it will be in your order History on the Apple Store under your orders.

Well no one has reported delivery dates between the Monday and Friday following the 3rd so i am wondering if those deliveries scheduled for the 13th to the 20th might arrive a week earlier

You never know, it may arrive sooner! And it's probably worth trying each morning.
