in case anybody wants to see, here's a size comparison picture of my X case inside my 7+ case

I just hope I like the change in size. My 7+ is my first + model and I love the screen size but don't always like the overall size of the phone. This very tiny reservation is why I am keeping my 7+ until my X arrives even though my trade in price might fall about £20

Not sure, suspect the wife will want it she finds out!

Give it to her as an early Christmas present.

Exactly my worry. The smaller narrower screen is going to bug me I think, but as I mentioned above I’ve locked my sale price in for my phone for 14 days so I can compare them

Yes I have 2 trade in prices locked in. Hoping Envirofone let me extend the first and slightly higher price by 7 days as they did last year but not the end of the world if they don't.

Usually both, but remember there phones are locked to the network of the first sim you out in them. You can put any one in there, but once you’ve done it your locked to that network
I believe that isnt true... as stated on their website
"
What is SIM Free?

You'll receive the iPhone Unlocked without having to commit to any network, leaving you free to decide which SIM card to use in the device. This gives you the opportunity to find the most suitable plan, whether that’s contract or pay-as-you-go, throughout the lifetime of the phone. You also have the option to add a foreign SIM card, so you can use the iPhone overseas."

My order is now in progress so does that mean bank has not blocked payment? (No money has been taken yet)

Anyone looking to get a sale on their old phone, I just did an order to sell mine to Envirofone, a little less than some others but rather go with a trusted name. They lock the price in for 14 days and send you a pack to package the phone up to send to them.

Also if you use code EXTRA5 you get an extra 5% on top, so I got £380 for my 7+ 32gb
Thanks for the code... I’ve been looking for one today! FLASH10 worked last month when I was first investigating best prices on my IP7 128GB

I Have had this case before but for the 7+, I will say that for the price it was great, very thin and will protect from light scratches but will give you 0 protection from anything else. Im thinking of getting one too again, I've bought a temporary cheap clear case to protect it till I decide what I want to do but the problem with the Tozo case or similar is that they aren't clear and for once I want to phone to show through completely. I'm therefore looking for the thinnest clear case I can find to show off the sexy stainless edge!

I guess you can’t wireless charge through this case though. That’s going to be a pain....

If anyone is in the market for insurance for the iPhone X, Insurance2go are now listing their costings

https://www.insurance2go.co.uk/iphone-x-insurance/

As expected an increase on existing iPhone cover (109.99 up from 79.99). Hopefully the existing MSEIPHONE10 promo will work on the iPhone X too.

Generally hear good things about this company so might consider instead of Apple Care

Thanks, I'll be going with this. Not sure why they bumped up the costs when the 64GB X is of almost the same value as the 256GB 8+, but whatever. Seems like the promo code works, but it says

Tell us who sent you so that we can thank them.

If one of your friends loves us enough to recommend us please tell us their name below.

I just entered my own name and email and it worked.

In the T&C it says to confirm that "I am a permanent resident in the UK" but I am not yet a permanent resident, so will it be ok to go ahead with it regardless? I don't think they will verify.

Preparing for dispatch! (>_<)

Anyone have any idea who will deliver the handsets? Or do the couriers vary?

I love DPD personally where you get the 1 hour slot text message. Far less anxiety when you know the window it’s coming in!

Will do a bit more research ahead of next week as it looks like we may have to supply the IMEI anyway. Cover is instant so no great rush. Interestingly there seems to be some form of referral reward (£5 at Starbucks anyone). Perhaps we can get a chain of referrals going for those that are interested lol:D

I hope it’s DPD. I know our driver well and he always takes good care of my stuff. They seem to have the best service too
