corner to corner yes, but it's useable space is something like 1% bigger, but due to the narrowness, things will be smaller than the Plus, keyboard, text, etc

I think the majority of the 13-20 club have ordered multiple phones, don't be salty.
I could really piss you off and tell you I'd actually ordered 3 in the UK and 2 in Jersey....
Guys the phone is lovely but I don't know why my screen dosent seem as crisp, white and bright as the 7 Plus I'm using. I've turned true tone off but still not as good.
Anyone got any feedback on screen, yellow tint and brightness when at 100%?

once I turned TT off the screen became stunning, perhaps you can post a picture of what it looks like?
I'm back home, and the phone is all set up and ready to go.
This is seriously a nice phone, you can tell instantly how nice it. I have barely noticed the notice, and face ID is very good, although a tiny bit slow but thats expected given it's 1st gen.
I can't stress enough how good an experience it is going to an Apple Store on launch morning. They treat you so well, provided free Starbucks and Krispy Kreme doughnuts and kept us fully informed of what was happening. I'm very lucky to have an Apple Store within 30 minutes of my where I live and am able to go down and also to afford one.
As people can probably tell I am so chuffed with how today went, this feeling right now is why I love Apple so much.

I know in previous years there have been issues with the screen starting off yellow due to the adhesive, see https://www.cultofmac.com/192299/does-your-iphone-5-screen-seem-yellow-dont-worry-overmuch/. No idea if that still applies to OLED screens however....

I've had that feeling before, nowadays I tend to book the day off as I have the holiday to spare at the end of the year.

I had this set up and didn’t get a text when I was next, good feature if it worked though. You can go the toilet without fearing you’ll miss the door!
Great stuff! I applaud your perseverance. Apple may never ship mine to me if Argos come through, so the previous salty comment is kinda stupid. If I cancel, someone from the next date range will get bumped.
If this was just another iterative design, I would probably have done the same as you, and waited my turn... but this one is too good to sleep on.
