Went almost through checkout as one silver 64gb was in stock on JL. Then was thinking if I spend so much money already I need to get 256gb one so left. Lol but was so tempting just to get it

My DPD driver has been without a stones throw of me for hours. And still has 50 deliveries and apparently 2;15 before me. If only I could call him direct and just go and meet him with some ID!
 
So the estimated delivery date for my iUP reservation as improved from December 3rd to December 1st :/

I know there isn't anything special about being on the iPhone Upgrade Programme, but given that Apple made it a priority for their retail staff to push this past year, and that delays mean being out of sync with upgrade dates etc, I do find it slightly frustrating that there is a month wait. Yet there were extra units shipped to stores for walk-in availability (assuming you were happy to queue up in the middle of the night).

Sorry I meant yellow hue on screen when everything is on - so for example when you’re looking at the settings menu
it does seem rather yellow when in settings yeah. It's why I tried turning off true tone. Might get used to it though.
 
Think I'm just going to wait now for the Apple 13-20 Nov order. Surely they must begin to show some progress in next couple of days. Seems odd that no delivery estimates were given for next week, yet the store lead time has reduced.

  • If you've changed your mind about keeping your purchase, please return it in its original condition with proof of purchase and we'll exchange or refund it
  • Unless faulty, this should be within 35 days of purchase

but also adds
  • It's important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in its original condition. We'd expect this to mean that you've kept all original packaging and labels, and that it's undamaged and unused


so not as flexible as Apple in taking it back once opened and used inside 14 days?

anyone have any experience of this?

This Sunday? I don’t think it will take that long if you mean next Sunday.
 
Got my X and had a play whilst restoring.... initial observations.....

1. The device is beautiful. I have always used cases,(and likely still will)...... but really don't want to hide this away
2. Face ID seems to work fine though is a bit annoying that it wont seem to work when phone is flat on desk. Anyone figured this out?
3. More apps than I imagined have already been updated with X support. My banking app however (Natwest) wont open (just crashes) - anyone else had this issue?

Cool - Not just me then! Check out the colour tint option which can change it to suit your own taste. Its in accessibility,Display, Colour Filters, Colour Tint.
 
I’ve been refreshing for the last hour. Not seen one appear in stock... given up now.
having the phone in the basket doesn't 'secure' the phone.. its only taken off the inventory once payment is complete.. up until then it could still bomb out and say none in stock even if you had one in the basket...

when its this busy its pot luck and timing that will see you through

I’ve not even managed to get it in the basket! Literally not seeing an ‘add to basket’ option!

keep looking regularly, they could be adding stock at any time during the day

Silver 64 has arrived, delivered on time by UK Mail.

Looks great but I’ll be happier once it’s in a case as it feels a bit slippery. Have ordered £6.99 ESR slim clear one from Amazon and will get an Apple silicone too.
