Yup currently in the car boot as we speak. Went to Apple to get AppleCare and screen protector fitted all good
It does - Apple Braehead was sold out, but I was able to pick up a white 256GB yesterday (launch day) because the person who had reserved it failed the iUP credit check.
I did a online chat with Apple after the website issues. They confirmed 0 walk-in stock across the entire UK
I only did the iUP option. When I checked in with the employee, he asked if wanted to do iUP but I said no, outright. Not a problem.Great

Phew. If you get the chance to take a photo of the screen protector that’d be good. I might get one if they’re discreet - my preferred case doesn’t seem to have lip protection which isn’t great
Haven't missed a single one...history has changed a bit - started work and moved house fairly recently (still renting though, no mortgage) so perhaps that was it was. Latest update though is that I've taken out a new contract with EE for the X - they ran a credit check and it went through immediately so god knows what happened with the iUP. Might write to Apple but probably won't do much good. Looking like handset from EE will take a couple of weeks to arrive.

My phone will be delivered by 1st December which im not too unhappy with. At least ill be paid by work in the mean time! How much are the screen protectors fitted in the apple store? what warranty do they come with?
:/ Damn that sucks. Change of address might be the issue, especially if it isn't reflected on your documentation. If Barclays can't easily verify the info you give, they'll probably be more inclined to reject than take the risk. Might be worth contacting them to see if they can offer any insight, Apple won't know why it happened.
Also as someone on the iPhone Upgrade Programme, your story has alarmed me somewhat

From experience everything on your credit file must be perfect for Barclays, they are so strict on anything loan or service they provide. So many times I've seen people having issues getting iUp.
One of my work colleagues failed their checks because his address on their system and what was on his credit file was in a different order.
I've just checked with my bank and despite me requesting that they change my address they haven't...so the bank account that I tried to use to setup the iUP this morning still had my old address, which wasn't the one I gave. Would this likely be the reason? Argh so annoying but might explain why. Could possible retry once address is changed?
Hi guys, I picked up my phone from JL today and wow! it has a very premium look and feel to it and face ID works like a charm. I'm actually not missing the home button at all now. I ordered the Silver model because I was fed up of black and the silver band round the edges really makes it shine.
I've tested Netflix on this and not all films wrap around the screen, I guess the ones that are in 4k do only. Camera quality is better and the screen is just so crisp and bright. I picked up the Mophie wireless pad too so I'm all set.

Yes. And act quick. I had one reserved at Stratford, took too long to reserve a time, and by the time I chose one it was gone.

Noticed that right away. Might be True Tone? I might turn mine off (if that’s even an option)
You can also adjust the hue somewhere in accessibility settings to make it even less warm.
