As I reserved through IUP, I’m not sure that I could have done. Given how many phones there are about, I didn’t see it as a big risk.
Currently on Apple support chat, wish I wasn't running any damn beta's on iPhone this is tricky stuff...

Sorry cant get a pic but basically the belkin glass which is what I have £29 one from Apple fitted by machine, it is the whole usable display screen size so right up to the black bezel, much better fit than the 7's were basically its safe!

I would say that wouldn’t have helped. Just be careful with hard searches on your file. They do more harm than people realise.

I keep checking hourly. Feels like the people in the 13-20 slot has got a bad deal when the 4-6 weeks wait time has been reduced to 3-4 on the website but our date hasn’t moved

Agreed. I don’t see how it can be another week before delivery, having such a gap between seems odd, especially as there must be stock coming over for shops and 3rd party retailers. JL are expecting some on 10 Nov, so presuming all stock goes to Hinckley to be distributed then surely it should be soon!!No

It will 99% come before the 13th. I reckon early next week. Well probably get updates tomorrow evening and they’ll probably arrive Wednesday or Thursday. Apple will never let their deliveries be late.
You and me are in the same boat.
If you go to Customer Service link there should be a track order page, just enter the order number, your last name and the billing post code and you should see that it is still "Processing".

Yes. I need to 'love' my phone. I had a Samsung Galaxy S8 and really didn't love it. I sold it on and I have a Pixel 2 now and absolutely love it! It's great if you get a phone you can feel so positive about, no matter what make or model it is.
They said 5-7 working days for money to go back into your account. You will get a refund email sometime next week they told me.

Just set it up as a new phone, install the public beta profile, install 11.2, then reset all content and settings, and then you'll be able to restore? Or am I missing something?
For anyone near Manchester..... I returned today an unopened Silver 256GB X to Trafford Centre Apple Store (ordered one for a family member who doesn't want now). Guy said it should show as stock again tomorrow for purchase (assume will therefore be available to collect).
He also said they had about 1,000 units in yesterday but all sold out. He thought this would be all the stock they received for the next few days.

Yeah got mine delivered Friday! It’s nice to see the same names cropping up year after year. I don’t use the forums in between releases.
