With it being Sunday tomorrow I’m not sure if we’ll see movement.

Took Monday off work (obviously) to hopefully it comes!

You'd be surprised. Last year I cancelled my Jet Black order from Apple because I got a Matte Black from CPW. Ordered that on a Sunday morning and arrived the next day at work 🙂 Have faith!

Simply I’m blown away. This phone has an amazing premium feel to it. Coming from the iPhone 7 Plus, I’m loving the smaller size yet gaining a larger screen. The oled display is stunning, so vibrant. Happy camper here. Good luck to everybody waiting on their iPhones X’s and the lucky ones that have it, enjoy it!

Another deliver fiasco, 5 and a half weeks overdue and still no movement!!!!! And they took the money 4th Sept. DJI .....

:/ Damn that sucks. Change of address might be the issue, especially if it isn't reflected on your documentation. If Barclays can't easily verify the info you give, they'll probably be more inclined to reject than take the risk. Might be worth contacting them to see if they can offer any insight, Apple won't know why it happened.

Also as someone on the iPhone Upgrade Programme, your story has alarmed me somewhat 😀. I was accepted without issue last November for my 7+ 256GB, and have switched jobs since then for more money, but I'm still anxious about going in to upgrade.

It’s because apple use Barclays within the UK and they have always been strict when it come to lending.

The Barclays or NatWest banking apps are not working for me, is this the same for anyone else?

I had this, I’m guessing you restored from a backup.delete the app and then reinstall from the App Store, should work then. I have Barclays now working with FaceID

Beautiful phone, desperately needs a software UI change. Come on apple, change things up a bit. At least give an option to remove the home indicator bar, that thing is irrelevant after the first day...

Haven't missed a single one...history has changed a bit - started work and moved house fairly recently (still renting though, no mortgage) so perhaps that was it was. Latest update though is that I've taken out a new contract with EE for the X - they ran a credit check and it went through immediately so god knows what happened with the iUP. Might write to Apple but probably won't do much good. Looking like handset from EE will take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Meanwhile, US stores show plenty of availability, and delivery dates are being brought forward. Considering how important the UK market is to Apple, this time around, it seems as if they dont care at all.

Yes, US stores get stock more regularly than UK. Apple seems to prioritise US over every other country.

I’ve just used Face ID for Apple Pay for the first time. It works really well, dare say slightly but easier than with Touch ID. I always found with Touch ID it was a bit awkward due to how the phone was in my hand but this seems smooth and promotes being held with 2 hands in a way. It was quick as well, no real delay at all.

Agreed. And the ability to place icons anywhere on the springboard at minimum. It can’t be that hard!

I ordered 2 silver 64gb from John Lewis at about 4pm yesterday they arrived today but one was silver 64gb and the other one was 256gb black only got charged for 2 64gb so happy days

Happy owner of an iPhone X since yesterday (preordered last Friday and picked up from Apple Store in Cambridge).

I love my new phone, it is exactly this in between 7 and 7 plus that I was looking for.

My only concern is that next year Apple will create iPhone X plus. Slightly bigger and I guess the price is going to be £1349.

Rumours were profit margins in X being lower than normal - Samsung charging an arm and leg for the OLED screen, and the FaceID being complex and new will have been expensive.

So I’m hoping next year as costs come under control maybe an X plus is £999 and the X2 drops to £799/£849

Possible but I don't remember anytime that the new model was cheaper than the previous. Let's hope though...

Just to add another case of failed IUP check...
Experian score 999/999, same address for 4 years, steady decent income, mortgage and a couple of credits always paid on time. Can’t really understand why it was rejected, ended up just buying outright. Strange process...
