Hats off to JL. Ordered yesterday morning and picked up in store today. Phone it excellent. Cancelled my Apple order so someone can get bumped up - had a 4-5 estimate from them.

On another note, I emailed O2 recycle to try and extend my offer and they extended it by another week. Worth a try asking them if anyone needs it

There’s no obvious pattern to it. Last Friday it was well publicised they’d have stock from 8 but they then started updating stock again at 2.30 or so too. I’d assume all their initial allocation has now gone and it will all be down to how Apple seed them with more
You have to buy in store or online at Apple. Think it’s the anti glare one rather than the invisi- shield one they fit (might have got names wrong)
No additional charge to fit if bought through them.
Yes they do, they have like OEM screens in packets which are specific for in-store fitting. It literally take 5 mins to get done and is a brilliant job

Thanks! Looking at istocknow it seems like the US isn’t suffering too much from lack of stock (well not as bad as I expected) so hopefully things might be on the up.
Yep they definitely do the invisiglass as I got this installed Friday morning.
Literally perfect job, always hated screen protectors before and this one is great!
Yeah I’ve been surprised with the amount of stock at Apple, resellers and carriers this year. Given the rumours on stock issues and the fact they went live in 55 countries, I was readily expecting limited stock until next year.
Never would have thought I’d have been able to pick up a phone the day after release from my local Waitrose (via JL)
