Hard to tell since it is only available in Apple Stores but I would have thought at least still available until the 15th or the 22nd. Also it is called 'iPhone Payments'

If you are going down this route there may not be a huge difference between the 7 and 8 per month in which case if I were you I'd get the 8+. I am currently paying £43.50 per month for my 256gb 7 plus and the 256gb 8 plus is £44 per month................though I appreciate the 7+ will be less since they dont have the 256gb model available.

Olly W is correct went to the Covent Garden store and the first person said she thought it'd still be available at the
moment but would need to check with her colleague but then he said no it's now only available on the new phones 8/8+/X

I am a little confused on fast charging and qi charging. when you say you need to buy the 29w charger + cable for fast charging, is that still wired charging or can you add wireless qi mats and have wireless fast charging?

Wired. Out of the box you’ll get the normal slow charger, so you’ll need to spend another £70 to get the correct fast charger and cable.

I don’t believe Apple have said which version of Qi but the rumors are it isn’t the latest, faster charging variant.

One of my concerns about getting the iPhone X with IUP is if I regret the purchase afterwards. As I'll no longer have my existing 7, I won't be able to change my mind & return the X. I'll then be stuck with paying at least £400 more than I'd have needed to when staying on the 7 & still presumably have to pay to upgrade again in Sep 2018 as I won't have made the required 11 payments.

The delayed launch of the iPhone X might well impact those on the IUP if they want to upgrade at the earliest opportunity next year assuming Apple are back on track with their normal September release schedule.

hmm just read about this "iphone payments" and to me it makes iUP look like a bit of a rip off.. the trade in of my phone is currently more than my remaining payments and that would be less if it didn't include apple care..

how did i not hear about this option sooner =(

on the iphone x it makes the monthly payments £10 cheaper

There's a thread in the iPad Accessories forum discussing 3rd-Party USB-C chargers (and cables) that support Fast Charge.

Just looking at the Apple App Store app again with regards to the IUP - it seems that the program is ONLY available if you choose the iPhone 8 and iPhone X??? No options to choose the iPhone 8Plus???

Anyway after Friday this place will be a ghost town until mid late October
Friday morning - this thread will EXPLODE!!!!!!!!

it shows under the iphone 8 option that it's for both the 4.7 and 5.5 option. guessing they rolled the 8 and 8 plus into one choice

I can't see any reason not to include the 8 Plus. Must be a mistake.

Ok cheers for that

TBH - I am still stuck whether or not to go for a 'Plus' model?! I've never owned a 'Plus' model before so a little apprehensive that I'll actually find it too big!!!

...come 8:01am on Friday morning - I'll be on a train commuting to work so I'll have the Apple Store app open on my iPhone 7 with repeated taps on the damn screen until I get a reserved phone via the IUP!!!

Slightly OT but where is decent for trade ins?

Envirofone offered me £366 for my iPhone 7, which I think is pretty good!

Thanks, have you used them before?

Will be interesting to see the split between orders for the 8 & 8plus vs X. Im selfishly hoping everyone goes for the 8 as I would dearly like my X this year!
