That’s just what I’m about to do. Apple support in their chat have said twice that’s fine.
Now this is here, I’ll head into my local store and try. Luckily I’m 10mins away from it
Now that is a proper way to package the iPhone. The only thing that i didnt like about my order from unshackled was the packaging. The iPhone was only put in a plastic dpd standard envelope, no protection whatsoever, see pics.

Now changed to PFD very happy
Ordered with Vodafone on 1/11 and first they said I’d get it on 3/11. Then it was delayed to within 7 days of launch, now still haven’t received any from Apple apparently so now it’s 14 days from launch. Hope the carriers get some soon.
Just at my local Apple store, the order I received today has been swapped over to IUP. Took 15 mins in total.
First they refunded the purchase back to a gift card in case I didn’t get approved for IUP. Soon as it was refunded she quickly scanned it before it was ‘reserved’ by someone else. Went through IUP at this point and then refunded the gift card back to my credit card. All sorted and now a fully qualified member of the IUP club.
She also said that tomorrow will be a good day for stock?! Take that how you may

I'll be up at 5am tomorrow anyway so I'll be part of the 6am crew. I really hope it is a good day for stock.
Now that have 2x 256gb phones coming today, i will be taking the Argos one back to the Rhyl store tomoz. If somebody wants to try and claim it / ask the manager to put it back in stock and try and buy it... give me a shout and we can organise a time. (space grey) It will be sealed.
