It’s a really nice upgrade (from a badly ageing 6) but I’m not as wowed by the screen as I was the first time I....*gulp*...saw/held the edge infinity display on the s8.

Turning off Tru-Tone is a revelation. Makes a massive difference.

Ah yes, this was the answer I was looking for. Did you have to sign in at 8am on the 27tg and click ‘reserve’ and get assigned a date? Or was it automatic?

This isn't correct. US customers were told to check into their account and prepare the paperwork a week ahead of orders opening up but were only able to order their handset at the same time as everyone. The iUP program in the US is done online whereas the UK one is done instore.

Interesting that the 13-20 Nov orders have been bumped-up so much! I was in that boat, but decided to try my luck last week and lined-up overnight at Leeds.

Usually random. Last year I went on their site at 1am and they added a load of iPhone 7 plus stock.

Now that is a proper way to package the iPhone. The only thing that i didnt like about my order from unshackled was the packaging. The iPhone was only put in a plastic dpd standard envelope, no protection whatsoever, see pics.

Just at my local Apple store, the order I received today has been swapped over to IUP. Took 15 mins in total.

First they refunded the purchase back to a gift card in case I didn’t get approved for IUP. Soon as it was refunded she quickly scanned it before it was ‘reserved’ by someone else. Went through IUP at this point and then refunded the gift card back to my credit card. All sorted and a fully qualified member of the IUP club.

She also said that tomorrow will be a good day for stock?! Take that how you may

Is there way to prequalify with IUP?

My phone has finally arrived and as many others have said, those who are still waiting, hang in there, its worth the wait!

The screen quality is great, Face ID so far for me has worked flawlessly and it's a nice size for those moving from a standard size phone (not sure how plus users will feel about it).

Mine went to PFD this morning - but my delivery address is my work address so I really hope it gets shipped today, for delivery at work on Friday.

There's nobody at home during the working week, so I normally get all of my orders/deliveries at work - generally works out easier that way!

I booked a reservation in store to collect for tomorrow and stupidly I’ve not realised I can’t make the time I booked.

Incase anyone else is still in the 6am boat for iUP, I have just done an online chat with apple who have confirmed in store stocks will be replenished first before any new orders.

I.e if your thinking of buying one at full price to then get refunded and sign up to iUP in-store, delivery times of 3-4 weeks are accurate
