Yes, got my iPhone X delivered today, finally. I’m really amazed by it. Stunning build quality and gorgeous screen. Taking forever to recover my data on it though

Managed to get a 64gb Silver reserved at Covent Garden! When I go and pick it up I can just pay in full right?
I couldn't even get on to even try! I had an order for 64 SG placed for delivery 24th - 1st which I cancelled for the 256 silver which Delivers 5 Dec - 12 Dec by Standard Shipping!
I changed my mind because I went to the apple store yesterday and I was kinda disappointed with the SG this year it made the phone appear smaller than it actually is, if you are worried about size and you do usually prefer the plus like myself it's definitely an initial shock!

It still doesn't change the fact they're the same size though. Not like you use your phone from the back anyway. Unless you're on about the sides make it appear smaller
I don't know what it was as soon as I saw iPhone X I was instantly drawn to the silver so I guess thats my personal preference. The SG to me definitely feels and looks smaller, it may be the bezel which appears to be a different shade of black/ grey to the notch. I don't know!
Could be, but as I have seen so far the silver is more prone to scratches. I have went with the silver myself though
Price based on just selling the phone to them. I didn’t have to buy a phone from them or anything.

If you don’t mind me asking can you remember what time your order went through? Just that I have a nasty feeling that my order was sufficiently late that it will be while yet before they start trying to take the payment for it.
Order times mean nothing. There’s a post a few pages prior where I point out a bloke who ordered 30 minutes later than me, got a date 1 week later than me and now has the phone.
I think apple are favouring certain areas when they distribute stock for some reason - which is mad considering they have a queue of orders.
Anyone had any luck in the last few weeks with turning up at an apple store for stock? I know Covent Garden got some 64GB silver stock this morning but I just missed out thinking of trying my luck before they open but don't want it to be a wasted journey
