Worth the wait
Got my i7 on wednesday hadn't really had much time to play with it till this weekend but thought id post something for you guys still waiting.
Happy as can be, not one problem with it (no screen, HD, flash, etc) it super quick and looks amazing. Definitely worth the wait.

If this black friday sale affects the promised timeframes that the retail channels receive their allocations i am going to ramp up my "communications" with DJs.
It is profoundly insane that customers who purchased though retail stores have had to wait this long allready, if Apple can't fulfill their promise to deliver the retail channel allocations knowing that the sale will increase online orders they are showing a pathetic disregard for their resellers, and customers.
Hopefully the increased delivery times seen on the online store (1-2 weeks) instead of 3-5 days is so that they can still run our orders through and everything will be good. Ill try to confirm this on monday unless someone has time to do it today?

When i ordered mine it said Ships: November so they have 2 days left, one of them is a sunday.

those 5 days felt like an eternity
at least its moving i expect it by Wednesday.
The weeks are just flying by.. today its been 30 days since i ordered my imac... likely to be another 2 weeks too i guess.. teaches me a lesson about preordering..
Over the years I have made a number of pre-orders on the release of a new products from Apple. It is certainly a novices mistake not to order direct from Apple Online for pre-orders as they have ALWAYS fulfilled these orders before those from resellers. In saying that, from what I have previously seen, the delay for resellers hadn't been more then a week, not a month which we are seeing at the moment.
I must admit, however, this is the first time that my pre-order with Apple Online will be delivered AFTER orders placed post shipping. I think something definitely went wrong with Apple's ordering system on this occasion.
My order is currently sitting in Hong Kong with an ETA of 03/12/09.

Same - mine is flicker free. Huge, beautiful, and QUIET. Much quieter than the Mac Pro it replaced (speaking of which, anyone interested in a used Mac Pro?). Oh, and it runs cool! That Mac Pro was a little heater, making my little home office quite warm. I'm staying a lot cooler now with the iMac on my desk!
And, I love the magic mouse
Can't wait until it supports more gestures. Seems wrong that it doesn't support pinch to zoom in iPhoto. I hope they add at least that!

Well they got today to get yours shipped Dronus, and then they are in breach. In breach of exactly what I am not sure, but I think it friggin sucks hard.
