And if you want to complain, it's not here, Apple is not taking care of macrumors forums.

Feedback Assistant is the way to report issues with the Beta releases.

But I am not so certain as you are that no Apple staff (either marketing or development) is reading here.

I want to read about developer feedback, UX/UI feedback, not about people complaining their "production" watch is slow, buggy and how to rollback ...
You’re in the wrong thread then, because this thread is for people to talk about everything to do with the beta, including battery life, how to upgrade, how to roll back (and not being able to), regret about installing it, etc.

Thankfully it’s possible to block users on this forum, including those who insist on jumping into threads and trying to dictate to the people already there what they think they should be allowed to talk about.

Meanwhile…

It’s curious to see both the Siri and Explorer watch faces have been removed. I can see they wouldn’t want to continue trying to support the Siri face as they introduce much of the same functionality in the Smart Stack (like showing items based on location, context and so on), but the Explorer watch face had a unique look.

Maybe they think Wayfinder supersedes it, but that’s not available on the non-Ultra models like Explorer is.

It’ll be interesting to see if it returns in a later beta.

I've got my developer beta selected for Watch OS 11, but the software update is not available to me. I've restarted my iPhone and watch, but no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you!
Are you running the dev beta on your phone too?

Another 25% drop with a 45 minute walk without my phone, streaming apple music. At least now i can charge it using the oem charger instead of my belkin 3 in 1

Anyone already has some experience with the new sleep tracking without a sleep schedule? Does it precisely detect sleep or does it trigger when lying on the couch watching TV?

hmm I just got an e-mail from Oceanic+ warning customers not to install the iOS18 or WatchOS11 betas.
Here's hoping they can fix whatever glitches they found before your dive 🤞.

I've had SO many issues with their programmes on normal, non-beta versions of iOS and watchOS that I am not surprised. Even on the last dive I did a week ago, I noticed some glitches that fortunately did not affect the dive but did get me worried initially. Pressing the action button the first two times was re-launching Oceanic+ instead of initiating the dive on the "I am fit and ready to dive" screen. Eventually I fortunately got it to initiate the dive.

Oceanic+'s algorithm might be on point but their QA is absolute ****.

Thanks. At least from the email it doesn’t sound like there are specific known issues. I won’t be relying on my watch so it’s just for fun.

I do happen to have an older Ultra I around that isn’t updated. I wonder if it’s worth diving with that instead.

After building my app on watchOS11 simulator, as every year, a lot of things are broken.
It’s way better than watchOS10 which introduced a lot of news in SwiftUI, but some basic UI components have a different behaviour (like Gauge)
From my experience, I won’t modify anything before a couple of next beta.
It’s useless to try to fix code on broken apis …

Good luck for people who want to use it as a daily driver …

This morning got a notification that I was using a non Apple approved charger and may not perform correctly. This after using the same charger for almost a year!
Why now??!!

Yeah, but is it actually a third party charger? If it is, consider the warning an iOS11 enhancement.

@LarryJoe33 what is happening to your posts? iOS 18 Safari?

Just in case your browser renders it differently, here it how it looks on Safari on macOS Sonoma:

For anyone having trouble with the watch not charging to 100%, fast charging seems to heat it up too much but my old slow charger worked perfectly fine.
Thanks. I’ve been wondering why it seems to pause during a charge. I just thought I maybe had beta a bug or something. I’ll start using my slower charger again.

I deleted the music recognition app/widget. Any way to get it back?

So no reason for it since Shazam was also installed. It seems it was some kind of shortcut.

This should be it.

Not sure how you’d get to it on the watch though.

Thanks! This is it!

I got it through the App Store on the watch
