11 Pro in gold. Will be keeping for another year as I upgrade every two years. Plus the 12 doesn’t seem like a huge upgrade.

XS Max 256 GB. My husband and I want to upgrade to the 12 Pro Max in the fall. However, with this pandemic going on. I’m not 💯 sure. Finances have to come first then toys later. It took all my strength not to upgrade this year as I’m used to upgrading every year. I’ll see what happens in the fall.

OG iPhone SE, the GOAT.

Next phone will be the 5.4" iPhone 12.

The true successor to the OG iPhone SE (although not a 1:1 successor, but good enough for me!).

In about an hour I'll be using an iPhone 11 128GB.

Prior to this in the last 12 months I've used (don't laugh!):

- XS Max
- 11 Pro Max
- Oppo Reno Z
- LG G8S Thinq
- Razer Phone 2
- Samsung A51

Most bought second hand and used for while before being resold for around about what I paid for them, except the XS Max and the Pro Max which I had to get new but was able to sell for a reasonable amount, especially the Pro Max which I was able to sell for near retail during lockdown.

And no, I don't have a good explanation as to why I've been using all these phones. I guess it's a hobby?

I'm holding on to my 4" SE. May switch to the new smaller phone that is supposed to be coming out.

seeing a lot of xs? is this still a phone to buy? I've heard the battery stinks even for a normal/light user

Or sacrifice the screen and look at the 11 instead...it would get 1 more yr of support than xs?

I feel like battery life was the weak point of the XS Max I used for a year.

11 Pro

I think it’s my favourite smartphone I’ve yet owned, be it iPhone or Android

The size, the screen quality, the amazing cameras, the speed, the excellent battery life, the ease of use, the tight software integration, the seamlessness with CarPlay and my AirPods, my iOS 13.5 jailbreak giving my the exact user experience I want from a smartphone, and the rear frosted glass - something I never gave a second thought to but might be my favourite part of any iPhone ever physically

It really is the full, complete package for me. Apples iPhone 11 lineup really knocked it out of the park this year imo

iPhone 11 Pro Max. I had my 7+ for almost four years and planned to keep it until Apple brought out a notch less flagship phone, but sadly dropped while cleaning it outside of its case and it completely shattered.

Really a great phone overall. Like I’ve been saying for years, Face ID sucks compared to Touch ID and The Notch is stupid and annoying. But minus those flaws I’ll say the display is gorgeous, battery life is two days per charge, and the camera is truly amazing. I’ve taken some pictures where I’m like “Wow, did I really take this?” when I look back at them later. They just look so professional that it throws me off (I know that sounds lame but it’s true)

The biggest surprise though is that it really doesn’t feel much faster than my 7+. It even hiccups sometimes when opening messages or the App Store just like the 7+. Pretty funny.

My wife had the 7plus and just received an 8+ and just for the convenience of wireless charging alone she said it’s worth it. She said the battery life has been better too. She loved her 7+
I'm thinking of upgrading for the same reason.

1) My Apple lightning port charger stands no longer charge the phone, so I'll need to buy new ones if I keep the 7+.
2) The battery is due for a replacement. I have to charge it 3-4 times a day even though battery health is 81%.

I'll probably get the 11 Pro . A faster phone with a longer battery life, better data connection, better camera, brighter screen, and wireless charging would be a great upgrade after 4 years of the 7 Plus.
