XR and I’m going to use it for a long time probably. Still in day 1 condition, not a scratch on the screen protector that I installed on day 1.

I’m happy with this device and guessing it will be supported with iOS updates until like iOS 17.

How are you finding the change? I love my SE 2 but when I pick my wife’s X up it reminds me how much nicer OLED is

I didn’t really have much of a choice. I have epilepsy so the screen was playing up with me ( I didn’t do my
Research before buying the 11 pro)That point aside they are both great phones and I am really enjoying the smaller form factor and Touch ID also being lighter than the pro is good too.

Good thing I still love my X...

I just searched my budget program, trying to remember when I bought it. I got the entry level model, so I've always thought of it as a "thousand dollar" phone. Funny how I quickly forgot how much Apple Care+, Leather case, and local sale tax added to that transaction. I think I'm going to try to keep it longer now.

What budget program is that?

iPhone XS Max and an iPhone 6S. Honestly, even the 6S is still running great. I don’t see myself upgrading from my XS Max anytime soon. Just see no point in updating only to go back using the same Apps as I always have, especially considering those crazy iPhone prices now. I miss those days when the latest and greatest iPhone would cost 650 € and would be seen as super expensive back in the =<iPhone 5S days

Saw it today at Apple Store in Bologna. It’s beautiful.
Indeed it is! I’ve been considering a matching band for my Watch.

Yeah, me too except the 256GB version and I think it's the best phone I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had a mobile phone for about 30 years).
It’s a great little phone, and even more impressive considering its cost.

XS Max. I was thinking of upgrading this year, but decided on PS5 instead. I’ll probably keep it 2 more years now and upgrade my wife this year to one of the cheaper models.

Apparently it just depends on the day for me. ;-p

Sold my 11 and got an SE2 shortly after it released. I was just ready for a smaller phone after years of bigger phones. Found the SE to be just a tad to small, so I tried an 11 pro, and still just cannot use OLED. With everything coming out in the fall being OLED, I pretty much resigned myself to having to keep the SE2 or go back to the 11 so I could keep LCD.

Got another 11, and I was feeling like it was all good again, but after using it a few days, I just felt like I was holding a brick in my hand (I realize it’s not really that bad, but coming off that SE2, it’s a really big difference).

So, I have another SE2 on the way (the one I originally bought was always intended for my granddaughter once I replaced it, so she has that one now, and I just can’t take it back from her), and I guess sometime before my return window is up on this 11, which is very soon, I’ll have to make yet another final decision. 😳

I have never in my life been so indecisive over anything, least of all a dang phone. It’s absurd I know, so no one needs to shame me. :)

11 Pro max 256 Midnight Green bought back in September 2019. Had a 6s+ 128 SG before that which I thought I would never upgrade. The 11 Pro Max cameras and battery life won me over quick. . . .

Struggling to keep up with this situation. Your posts are a good read though. Coming from an 11 pro myself I am loving my new SE. Still getting used to the size difference but overall it’s a win for me.

I had the same indecisiveness when the 6 and 6 Plus were released. I was so used to a smaller phone that I struggled to adjust to the bigger one (even though I’m 6’8” with large hands). Choice is great, until you struggle with choice lol. They gave the Plus models advantages which was even harder because I was used to always having the newest, best iPhone.

This lasted until July of the iPhone 7 release. Almost 3 full years. I was terrible about going back and forth. Once I finally settled on the Plus I couldn’t go back to the smaller phone. It was as if someone flipped a switch. Then the new designs came. And go figure, I’m one of the few sensitive to Apple’s implementation of PWM. So now I’m still on that same 8 Plus. Point is, you’re not alone. We can easily step back and acknowledge this is a first world problem at it’s finest. But it still is hard when it’s a passion.
